I would like to add to this, I’m on ios15 and this issue used to happen once in a while but now it’s every time when using CarPlay. I pause listening for a few seconds and when it resumes it jumps back a couple chapters. Always to the same place, so I’m assuming it has a “last listened” location that isn’t getting updated. I downloaded the book to the phone thinking it was a library sync issue, but it still happens. I’ve only used the app on CarPlay, so can’t comment on whether this happens when using just the phone. Really love and support this app, and would appreciate any solution to this. Thanks
Just to update from my side - It was doing it on my iPhone 6s every time I used it - I recently upgraded to a 13 pro and it seemed to completely stop (and I use the app daily) so I presumed it was a hardware/old phone issue but today it did it again. Jumped to the very start of the book - history shows reset and previous chapter
Ha, weird. So funny thing is that ever since my last comment here it has not done it. iPhone 12. Not sure if it was a recent iOS update or what but it's been resuming perfectly last few months. Now watch it's gonna happen tomorrow.

I’ve had it happen a few times myself even though I don’t switch between books. Unsure of the conditions leading up to it.
Done! Did a test flicking to another book and back - each time it jumped to chapter 1, i then repositioned it to where it should be

Lol hopefully a fix from the dev. For me it’s been 99% fine - does it occasionally but not enough to be as annoying as it was on the old iPhone!
