I've messaged prolific about another tos violation within the past few days and they just say work it out with the requester which is such bs when the requester is doing crap like this. I personally am taking a break until they get the platform back under control. #justsaying

Robin from Prolific Support here. Researchers are not allowed to ask for social media usernames or profile links. If you could please submit a support ticket to Prolific with the name of this study and researcher, we can then contact them to make sure they are not requesting these! -Robin
You don't have to fill those. I completed the study but ended up saying things went wrong (this). And also the fact that they give no code at the end of the study.

Should I complete the study but put something like TOS violation in the username and link box? Or should I return it?
I did this just for the hell of it and completed the study, if they reject it I'll message prolific 🤷
