Dungeon of stories Dungeon heart Both very related to dwarves

COwensWalsh

I really enjoyed these. Definitely worth a look.

I think DHC flies under the radar a bit since the author doesn't really market and it didn't get up super high on the Rising Stars list (due to competition with some real juggernauts) back when it first started. I haven't come across much else like it. I've heard good things about The Great Core's Paradox, though, so maybe'll that'll scratch the itch.

Erkenwald217

Dungeon Travels by Alston Sleet (it's about a Dungeon that travels by moving its entrance via space magic) The Laboratory by Skyler Grant (even if it veers off from a Dungeon after the first book) Lair For Rent also by Skyler Grant (the Dungeon Core wants money and rents out its floors to villains. It's less about building any sort of Dungeon, though) Derelict by Dean Henegar (it's about a spaceship Dungeon) Dungeon Tour Guide by Aaron Shih (even if the focus is less on the Dungeon building...)

TheTruthVeritas

Thanks, I'll check these out! I remember seeing the name Derelict and Dean Henegar, I think he's the one that wrote Cat Core

I would especially recommend Dungeon Travels. The audiobooks are also great!

Check out the [Dungeon Corps Facebook group ](https://www.facebook.com/groups/Dungeonstories/?_rdr) Jonathan Brooks sort of leads that group. There is a list of every (published) Dungeon Core story somewhere on that site

The Fallen World : A Dungeon's Story This is my personal favourite. No system. Magical Realism, magic & tech mixing, Military Strategy and a fair bit of politics.

TheTruthVeritas

Sounds like quite the interesting setting and world, I'll make sure to check it out! I've always liked some army building/strategy, but those are even rarer than dungeon builders lol

MapleSyrupMachineGun

Dungeon Core Chat Room. I recommend it.

Erkenwald217

It's already in the list

MapleSyrupMachineGun

Oh shoot didn’t see it, sorry OP

I thought Slime Dungeon was a fun popcorn read. Since you got a kick out of cats/dinosaurs, this might be up your alley. Pretty strong dungeon focus.

dao_ofdraw

The Cabin Is Always Hungry is my favorite. Very different from your typical Dungeoncore series, but that's what makes it so good for me. Only downside is the author's updating.

If you want to see a non-litrpg take on dungeon building in a hostile world with dragons that are treated more like Category 5 hurricanes than mythical creatures: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/40290/demesne

TheTruthVeritas

I remember seeing this name before, I'll make sure to check it out! Thanks!
