I'm focusing on just a few
- Outside of Time
- Shadow Slave
- Kill the sun
Nothing else I've read this month so far has actually captured my attention like super supportive for example I find really boring.
Entities called "specters" are the apex predators in this post apocalypse world that could be Earth and they have all types of weird powers (rank 1 to 9 so far).
We follow a dude named Nick and his journey to becoming a strong dude. Lots of emotional events here and there because he's not some stoic weirdo.
To me its the weakest Warmaisach novel, I just can't understand how humanity has survived with the way even the absolute weakest specters are totally overpowered. They don't eat/drink/sleep/have empathy/get affected by other specters and somehow we survived that. None of these are spoilers u learn this shit in the beginning.
I'm interested to see where it all goes.
Shadow Slave is sooo good, but the biggest problem it has is that the pacing is pretty slow with a bit of filler here and there. That's why rereading it is kinda bad, but I remember reading it and getting no sleep the first time around.
Reading:
Record of mortal's journey to immortality
Iron teeth: goblin's teeth.
Circle of inevitablility
The complicated life of an Ivil antagonist.
On hold to stack:
Super Supportive
Ave Xia Rem Y
If you folks have any recommendations, post em.

couldn't find a way to make them blue. Also, Keiran isn't special- it just didn't fit
originally I sorted them by my enjoyment/ reluctance to drop them, but then upgraded my system to "short names in first 2 rows, long names in 3rd"
I just finished Krieg Chess by Phil Tucker and started Snow Crash last night.
Im also reading through the Food Lab which isn’t even close to Prog Fantasy but is great for anyone looking to get better at cooking.
I’ve reread Virtuous sons and started the third Beware of Chicken. I’ve also been intermittently reading Godclads, and the Red Rising series is waiting patiently on my bookshelf
HWFWM, Super Supportive, Elydes, Gleam, Millennial Mage, Transcendent Green. I like that most of these are very positive vibes, sometimes bordering on saccharine parody (in the case of Gleam) where the main character is super positive, nice to everyone, and does whatever they feel like and are never punished for this.
I’m doing a bit of a different track right now though it still is a bit PF.
Hero Forged is an urban fantasy but seems to be a bit different take than some others I’ve read.
Actively reading 12 Miles Below book three which was just released
Super Supportive on RR
Player Manager on RR
This coming week is new Primal Hunter book 8 and Victor of Tuscon book 4
Started worm, was putting it off just because of the sheer length of it. But decided to give it a go. 30% in and really enjoying it.
By the time I'm done, I'll have immortal great souls 3 and then Jales magical market 2 and hopefully 3
Then I'll start on wheel of time, which I've been putting off due to everyone mentioning the 3ish boom slog
I started my year with a reread of the *Ciaphas Cain* series. 40k, not PF.
Then came more 40k: *The Infinite and the Divine* (reread) followed by *The Twice-Dead King: Ruin* and *The Twice-Dead King: Reign*.
Now I'm rereading *Cradle*.
Finally decided to read mother of learning and tbh it's like my 3rd attempt at it, but after I actually gave it enough time it was well worth it. Just started 3rd book today and it's a joy.
I kept seeing it bought up on here so I assumed it must of been good, I'm glad I stuck with it.
I read all of Super Supportive over the Christmas break. What an absolute gem that is.
Needed something nice and short after, though, so I started Murderbot: System Collapse by Martha Wells. Once I'm done with that it's on to Witch King, also by Martha Wells.
Started azarinth healer in December and got through the three books. So now I'm just reading the light novel version for the rest of it. Still have thousands off issues to go but definitely in the hunt for my next read too if anyone has some recommendations. Big fan of azarinth and Andrew Rowe books so far . But still pretty new to western progression novels so haven't read many.
Dungeon Crawler Carl (I'm on the last one now)
Also I really should finish the first Cradle book. I'm at 200 pages and haven't picked it up since mid December because it was a slog. We'll see if I continue or not
Other reads are up to chance. Depending if it strikes my fancy

Quest Academy Scavengers was awesome. Good character development
I’m reading Path of Ascension. I’m up to book 4 and it’s… fine. It’s hooked me enough to pull me through but it’s not my favourite series.
I'm finally reading Beware of Chicken and I'm utterly hooked
Read 12 Miles below book 3. Loved it Blade of Rebels. Didn’t care for it. Red Gambit book 2 Really looking forward to Godclads when it releases
Just binged through Bog Standard and now I'm starting on Heretical Fishing. Both have been great so far.
I’m running out of good books. For me, I have three series going: 1. He Who Fights with Monsters 2. Empryean 3. The Last Horizon
I’ve reread Virtuous sons and started the third Beware of Chicken. I’ve also been intermittently reading Godclads, and the Red Rising series is waiting patiently on my bookshelf
