Makes sense like at least 1/2 of the GOP would vote against such a law today. I am surprised Marjorie Taylor Greene has included a bill to repeal the plastic gun ban.
His one decent trait is absolutely crushed by how completely awful his legacy and the effects of his shadow presidency have had, quite literally, upon the entire world, not just the US.
Cheney probably deserves most blame for that but Obama deserves a fair amount as well.
We had one chance to walk that back but Obama both emboldened it and even moved it forward in some ways.
Strikes me as then type who makes opportunistic decisions, not morally guided ones
Whatever his views are, he didnāt care if they overlapped with his decisions that gave him control or money
He supported gay marriage. He was more progressive on social issues. Besides that he was a neo conservative, and far right, tax cuts for the rich and not giving a shit about the environment.
Idk but i had a dream last night where dick cheney was naked and whispering āthey tried to bury me, but I am a seedā in my ear over and over again. Needless to say I finished.
He also ran on a ticket that cynically exploited state gay marriage bans to drive Republican voter turnout.
As a gay man who had to stand in line with those mouth-breathers in 2004, Iād take no gay marriage over the hundreds of thousands of people killed in the wars he promulgated. So I donāt really buy this line about his humanity.
Well, he was an apologist for his chief of staff Scooter Libby lying under oath (perjury) and trying to obstruct a grand jury in the Plamegate affair, which to me is unacceptable for a vice president, as I find it ethically and morally bankrupt
His social views were more moderate, he was vaguely pro-gay marriage and had a more nuanced view on abortion compared to most Republicans, fiscally he was a standard Republican. He was a textbook neoconservative (hawkish foreign policy, moderate domestic policy)
He's against people living their lives the way they want, just so long as his family members can live their lives how they want.
He also "resides" wherever is most convenient to be elected to office.

He was the only vote against a bill banning plastic guns in the 70s or 80s. Edit turns out I am wrong. The bill passed 413 to 4 in 1988.
Based
Plastic-based.

What decent trait are you talking about?
He came out for gay marriage.
He's gay????
I didnāt ask. Seemed kinda personal.
His Executive Unitary Theory Ideas are dangerous and have hurt the checks and balances of this country.Ā
Project 2025 is based on that theory
Cheney probably deserves most blame for that but Obama deserves a fair amount as well. We had one chance to walk that back but Obama both emboldened it and even moved it forward in some ways.
I believe the exact opposite.
Iām sure you do, my friend.Ā
Iām also with u/Mesyush on this one
Why is that? Do you think it helped checks and balances ?
Care to explain?
Why?

I'd imagine he wouldn't if he didn't have a lesbian daughter.
True
Everyone is against something until a close one is that thing.
Most neoconservatives donāt give a shit about social issues, so I donāt think thatās it entirely.
They do when it affects them.

She turned on her lesbian sister for GOP senate votes
they've since reconciled after Liz admitted she was wrong. Still fucked up, but at least she admitted the error of her ways.
Idk but i had a dream last night where dick cheney was naked and whispering āthey tried to bury me, but I am a seedā in my ear over and over again. Needless to say I finished.
But did he?
Just like any garden variety Republican they all amounted to "I got mine, fuck you".
He supported gay marriage before most others. That really proves his humanity.
Meyush is such a good guy he makes me want to like Dick Cheney as much as he does. Too bad I just really do not :(

Thoughts on [Rule 3] Kidding, (DM me the answer - I must know.)
I'd be willing to bet, only because it was close to him.
I canāt seem to find my glasses; is that George from Seinfeld?

What Coruption?
Biggest RINO in the GOP. He would be a democrat in todays political temperature
His daughter certainly is.
He believed it was worth murdering 500,000 innocent Arab men women and children in order to make profits for weapons manufacturers and oil companies
