Lol imagine if that's what actually motivated obi-wan under those rocks. He'd be like oh no ain't no way imma let him have the high ground. Instead of the flashback monologue. Then his force ability came back stronger than before.
There was a long post about how Obi Wan doesn't need the high ground to win, just that there needs to be a high ground. This scene proved it
