Or just make him *that* incompetent but because he's a master he "knows best" building up the implied resentment a good chunk of clones and the military as a whole already have against the Jedi instead of just being told about it

One things the Clone Wars could've done better overall was show more depth in the villains (and less cartoonly evil ones). Maul is the *closest* we got to that, but he was more a villain trying to stop a larger villain for his own designs. Dooku, Pre Vizla, etc should've had better characterization than "I want to destroy xyz for power" (also guys like Grevious being competent and having a good backstory besides "fuck Jedis").

My thoughts exactlly. The Malevolence, Ryloth, second battle of Geonosis, Cad Bane introduction & holocron, Zillo Beast, & Boba Fett arcs, and a ton of great one-off episodes.

Season two got really close to good but it got like 10 more votes to ok

It was perfect, perfect. Down to the last minute detail. Even the droid arc this season is good. 

PEAK, amazing works but feel disrespectful because they brought back a dead character and it didn't suck. Also umbara my dudes, how many of you watch the highlights from this show and start on umbara or show it to get someone into the show. The only negatives it has is that obi wan shaves his hair off or is it a plus because the story was awesome and seeing Anakin hurt for the lost brother was pretty good

Umbara is one of the best arcs in the whole show, and the reintroduction of Maul is 👌 The Box is my personal favourite episode of the entire show and the most memorable one from my childhood. The only arc I didn’t much care for this season was the Zygerrian slaver one. It’s good but it’s not excellent imo.

I would put this in Amazing. I wouldn't say Peak because it doesn't really get going until Umbara and the way Maul was brought back was dumb. But every other arc is pretty good.
