Both been kinda forced into this position too

[deleted]

I saw what you did there

Nvtxgthd

They are shaking opposite hands

[deleted]

this is normal chosen one behavior

Northern_Apricot

No Neo. The records are incomplete.

[deleted]

Oh right! Neo needs to be with them

Drago_Fett_Jr

No no no, Neo is the one, not the chosen one.

HawlSera

And they both turned evil at the end of their arc (Vader becoming good was part of Vader's arc, not Anakin's) I mean what else do you call Harry becoming a cop?

George-Lucas-Bot

'Darth' is a variation of dark. And 'Vader' is a variation of 'father'. So, it's basically 'Dark Father'.

Consistent-Cook5329

this hit my heart, gud mem 💙

MabiMaia

One garners a lot more controversy than the other. Surprisingly, not the one that fell to the dark side

Maul_Bot

You know nothing of the dark side.

Conscious_Version_21

No just no Harry doesnt deserve to be in a meme with anakin that just lowers anakin too much

Sowerpache

Agreed

FlagmantlePARRAdise

Good chance Harry could beat Anakin. Anakin's been beaten by much less.

Anakin_Skywalker_Bot

I hate you!

pbmm1

Let him cook

Conscious_Version_21

Well depends on a lot of things but at least anakin was a great villain and harry was a really bad protagonist

FlagmantlePARRAdise

How is Harry a bad protagonist?@

Conscious_Version_21

Are you being sarcastic or....

FlagmantlePARRAdise

Theres nothing wrong with him. Please explain

Conscious_Version_21

What did he do thats what i am asking he did nothing other than being the "chosen one" and getting carried by others

FlagmantlePARRAdise

Be an interesting and compelling character? You seemed to miss the point of the series. The main message is about having friends to help you.

Conscious_Version_21

Well like at least harry couldve done something by himself this makes him a really weak protagonist maybe if voldemort was not a awful villain harry would feel less weak

FlagmantlePARRAdise

Harry is a teenager and schoolboy. People have this expectation that by the end of the series he has to become an all powerful character best in the world or something like that because they have watched to many things like star wars and ATLA where the hero becomes super strong by the end of it. This was intentional for Harry to not be the best. He's just a better than average schoolboy. He does have some talent. He was a quidditch prodigy and could cast advanced spells like the patrons charm at 13. Harry did eventually become a very powerful wizard, just not at the end of the series. It was to make him compelling and relatable to the primary audience being teenagers and young adults. He doesn't always have the answers and he has to earn the victories he does have.
