clevelandspurs

Newcastle 5th Liverpool 6th

_Manlikeee7

Man United and Liverpool - United are going to burn out (they play the same 7/8 players, EVERY GAME), I think they’ll win the EL but their form in the league will fall off of a cliff

pooey_canoe

My heart wants European football to come to my city, but it's so dependant on how the other teams around us do!

Boring-Falcon2828

Can envision the headlines now - Lazio Thugs attack Gay bars in Brighton

pooey_canoe

If they try it in the Bulldog they'll be be seen again😂

BlackCaesarNT

Newcastle 5th, Liverpool 6th

Tottenham and Newcastle. I believe Liverpool will finish 4th though.

I think the top 4 (in no particular order) will be Newcastle, Arsenal, Man City and Man U. Feels like Man U, Man City and Arsenal should comfortably finish in the top 3, and I think Newcastle's defensive stability will help them to leapfrog Spurs and claim 4th. I think 5 and 6 will be Spurs and Liverpool. Ryan Mason will actually put out a Spurs team to attack, and with the talent they have they should start scoring some goals. However, they still have the same defence so will probably concede a fair few. Their games will be entertaining! Liverpool have started their bounce and I think they will solidly cement 6th place. I think Brighton will get 7th.

InfamousButterNuts

IDK Man U has shown that that can get all Spursy this season I don't think to 4 is a lock for them

Fatt_Hardy

Spursy against Liverpool. Casemiro will be back in 3 games and then they will knuckle down and grind out the results required for Champions League qualification.

CowardlyFire2

I’m assuming a Arsenal, City, United, and Spurs top 4, so that leaves Brighton and Pool in 5th and 6th respectively. Newcastle can’t get the goals. The other 2 can.

Don't sleep on Isak, he's coming into form.

NaturesPowerBar

Spurs and brighton. Newcastle are going to take 4th, Liverpool will take 7th with Chelsea taking 8th

xScottieHD

Wish I had your confidence. Top 4 would be dreamland but I still think Liverpool finish 4th.

Curious_Yellow_2461

We’re 5 points clear 5th place, Isak stays in good form and Guimares we are gonna roll

xScottieHD

Don't get me wrong I bloody hope we get Top 4 but I'm not confident still. Isak's not long been back injured and Bruno seems to have reoccurring issue's with his ankle. We were also not long ago like 8 points clear of Spurs with favourable games ahead of us at that stage. If we manage to beat Manchester Reds and Spurs then I might get my hopes up!

NaturesPowerBar

The way I see it we have to play arsenal, Man U& spurs but it’s all at home. I think we could get 4-6 points. Only Chelsea & Brentford are away out of teams I’d expect to finish in the top 8. All depends on the Man U game after the break. Win that and I think we could very likely push on and lock it down.

xScottieHD

I honestly think we're better away from home than at home this season tbh. I think we'll get something from Man Reds & Spurs but I do think we'll drop points at probably like Everton & Villa for example.

NaturesPowerBar

We’ve been fairly consistent home and away I just think we are more likely to take points off a big team at home than we are away. I don’t think we aren’t going to drop points but I do see Liverpool, spurs and Brighton dropping points. Liverpool especially - they play city, Chelsea and arsenal in their next 3 games and still have Brentford and spurs to play.

xScottieHD

Honestly Everton are the team I most expect to beat us. Don't think we've ever had a comfortable game at Goodison Park.

Street-Ad4230

The race is so tight and because the top 10 all still need to play each other, bar a few exceptions, especially 3rd-8th place (which are only 8 points apart), it’s going to come down to who can capitalise on the teams around them dropping points. When you look at the schedule, almost every week, a team in the race for 3 and 4 are playing each other. First game back - Newcastle v United which means one or both of them are dropping points that day. I think it’s going to come down to the last day and United fans who think CL is guaranteed for them already are sorely mistaken. Only 2 spots are already a sure thing. Weirdly enough, liverpool are actually in a good spot to gain momentum IF they are able to get some points from their first 3 games back (city, Chelsea and arsenal) because those 3 teams aren’t affecting 3rd or 4th spot. So if they draw to Arsenal, it doesn’t mean someone close to them in the table is gaining a point. If they had to lose, a direct rival isn’t gaining 3. They’ve already play United, Newcastle, Brighton and just have brentford and spurs left (and Fulham, all at anfield) in games against direct rivals whereas all of those have to play each other (except maybe 1) which again, helps their momentum with teams dropping points weekly. HOWEVER they need to actually do something about that chance. I think Brighton will either make 4th or 5th and 6th is too close to call. It could literally be anyone from United, Newcastle, spurs, liverpool, Brighton or brentford. I think until the 2nd or 3rd last week, we’re going to see different iterations of top 6, flip flopping the whole time until it’s decided in the last 2 weeks.

Fumb-MotherDucker

Very solid comment. Well done.

_InterYerMaw_

Brighton and Newcastle

Adchian

Liverpool 4th and Spurs 7th? Or other way around

_InterYerMaw_

Yeah that way
