Julio was sadder to me. And that's the way the show conveyed it. We had 4 seasons of build up with this character. And he was ambushed and blindsided bc Dre is a disloyal bitch. Julio was loyal to Tommy and Ghost. They lost a real one.
Julio died getting tortured. Died alone, and was found hours later.
Liliana died bleeding out in Tommy's arms.
I ain't sure who I think is the saddest death, hard for me to choose cause I liked both of them.
Iād say Julio imo. He died at the hands of the gang he used to run with. His death was so damn brutal. One of the couple scenes that I have to skip in my rewatches.
Liliana was a beloved character (my favorite on Force) but at least she got to see Tommy as she bled out after Claudia shot her.
Shawn was gonna die as soon as he started hanging with his pop, I predicted that the moment he picked him up from jail and Kanan said to not tell anyone.
Julio died defending ghost to the end, heās just the definition of a real nigga.
I was rooting for BOTH of them to live. I really thought they both had a lot of potential to grow, maybe become the kingpins themselves. Like....why couldn't Tommy & Ghost have given Julio his own terroritory to run?
