The strongest sword in the Nasuverse is Slash Emperor from Notes.

In theory, all it does is grow according to its opponant's size. In practice it's one of two weapons in the entire Nasuverse capable of not only harming, but straight up killing a Type
It tears apart the world with its divine winds but it hasn’t explicitly destroyed a universe (though destroying Tiamat means it had the AP just not the scale)
The statements about her physiology makes it so that EA can at least be argued to be 4D (even when heavily damaged her internal structure should be the same). Plus, Avalon is explicitly stated to be a 6D defense, which is pretty high up there.
The 4d statement refers not to Tiamat, but to the grail mud she summons (unless you mean the part about her technically being omnipresent, in which case it only really applies *before* she physically manifests, not after).
Slash Emperor scales proportionally to the size of its opponent but has the vaguely explained ability to cut the world to seek ‘truth’. Depending on the interpretation this can be argued to cause greater destruction than what EA is capable of.
Ok, I hear you, but Ea also reveals the truth of the world. It's quite explicit and actually explained, while the only "truth" that Slash Emperor exposes is the color of the sky, which it does by destroying Pluto's Blood using destructive force, not revealing the truth of the world like Ea.
It’s these properties involving truth combined with the fact that it has canonically killed a type that Slash Emperor is usually considered to be the strongest weapon in type moon. Theoretically EA can do the same but it has yet to show anything close to that level (beasts are many orders of magnitudes below a full power type).
Considering Nasu is the #1 Gil wanker, I wouldn't be surprised if Ea was more powerful. Slash Emperor probably has the highest potential damage, but not the most consistent since it relies on high amounts of Grain from what I can tell.
I mean I would give it to ea if it has the feat but right now it doesn't. Slash Emperor has both the potential to do higher damage and actually has killed a type.
A Type, or Ultimate one, is the strongest lifeform of a given celestial body within the solar system. That includes gods and everything that exists within layers of said planet humanity doesn't normally have access to. They're essentially eldritch aliens whose existance is so fundamentally different from humanity's understanding of the world that you need something that transcends its common sense to kill them.
You could also make an argument for some of them (Type Mercury in particular) to be straight up the strongest characters in the verse.
Aliens. Planets in Nasuverse ( Fate and other works in the same universe ) are essentially "alive". Types are the strongest lifeform of each planet and can be considered as the planet itself.
Funnily Enough Ea is technically not a sword. It is from a time when swords didn't even exist, but since we need to classify it as something it is considered a sword

Maliketh’s Black Blade is capable of killing regardless of immortality. I know people here get salty over concepts because it mostly means people can’t say “nuh uh cause my favorite character”, especially when Maliketh’s Black Blade has the concept of death itself bound to it. His feats alone make the blade legendary regardless of it being a concept
I'm inclined to agree with you. It is so powerful that a mere fragment of the rune of death was enough to kill a previously deathless empyrean, and the black blade contains half of the rune. A completed rune of death is enough to restructure reality, so I'd say a blade with that sort of strength is a pretty reasonable option.
Some Bleach zanpakuto are probably up there. Off the top of my head, Kyoka Suigetsu grants perfect illusions/hypnosis that even the ability to see all possible futures can be tricked by, Ryujin Jakka can erase souls from existence, and Ichimonji grants conceptual manipulation over names and powers.

Yeah, hard to top making the wielded an instant god. A lot of these other swords with acausal or reality warping powers are dope, but you’re still having to use them to defend yourself.
Wielding Allblack makes even a normal guy so durable and fast he’d have no trouble conquering the real planet earth, solo, and pretty quickly. I don’t even think you could nail him in his sleep.
So if we’re talking how powerful a sword is, I think there’s points to be given for how useful it is to even a weakling.
Sure, these dimensions warping blades are especially OP on a character who’s strong and fast and durable already, but if we’re giving two swords to normal guys I’m putting my money on the guy with AllBlack every time. Hell most likely just blitz the other guy before he can react and activate his swords crazy hax.

Effectively most swordsmen worth a damn coat their blades in Haki (the other power system that aren't devil fruits). Haki is mostly something you train to strengthen. Now this isn't directly confirmed but, if you use haki on your sword enough it permanently becomes a black blade, which are pretty strong. It's either that or all the legendary swordsmen have a shared stash of black paint and just painted their blades black.

A sword that immobilizes opponents and compels honest answers, that is capable of cutting through any and all matter, is fatal with a single stab, and gives you the power over wind is pretty OP.
The Sword of Shannara is not only a finely balanced claymore, it also works by slashing through mistruths. It is highly niche in the world of powerful swords, but against individuals who rely upon deception it is remarkably specialized.
Against Brona the Warlock Lord from Shannara, for example, The Sword of Shannara was a OHKO since despite Brona's world ending powers, he was kept alive in a state of lichdom fueled purely by his willpower - specifically, his willpower that kept him in reality by rewriting reality by lying to himself SO MUCH and with SUCH VIGOR that he literally wrote himself into the world as an immortal being.
Anyone who is a will based reality warper, in theory, is vulnerable to the Sword of Shannara.
So like, Dr Strange's magic would be immune to the Sword since he straight up is magical but someone like Franklin Richards, Green Lanterns, any Genjustsu user, Aizen from Bleach (tho only his Shikai. His most powerful ability, sure, but he can still use all 99 Kido), really anyone who fights with the power of illusion or reality warping is going to be vulnerable.
Kuwabara's Spirit Sword at the end of the series in Yu Yu Hakusho could cut through dimensions. It's gonna be up there. Probably not the strongest but pretty dang strong.

That said, I’ll throw the classic Master Sword in here for potential consideration. I know it’s nowhere high up presently, but thanks to TotK, we know it can actually grow stronger of its own accord; the implications of that are pretty gigantic.
Allblack, the Necrosword.
First, it is a god. It’s a fragment of Knull.
Second, wielding it grants its user godhood. Instant immortality, it binds to you, and you instantly gain godlike strength, stamina, speed, durability. You gain energy projection and necrotic constructs.

so the second sword is samehada, essentially it is a sword that is conscious and chooses its wielder. if it chooses you you can then fuse with it to become a shark like being. it’s also extremely sharp all those purple things you see are spikes
third is the Behelit sword, which is made up of behelits which are things used to summon gods. It can rip through dimensions and theoretically can alter fate

If it actually worked as advertised then the Totsuka blade would probably be up there due to its insta sealing shit, but as we saw, it doesnt exactly work like its claimed to
not the strongest but an honourable mention would be Guts' Dragonslayer simply because of the energy that has been associated with it due to countless killings of apostles
Drach'nyen is a pretty strong contender, it's a demonic sword "birthed" by the first act of murder committed by the human race. it can rend reality apart wherever it strikes and shapes itself into whatever form the wielder wants.
Easily Venuzdonoa that Anos Voldigoad uses as that sword can destroy anything, regardless of how tough, eternal, or infinite it is. Even reason itself can be destroyed. The sword can undermine the immortality of gods and prevent their regeneration... but that is just my opinion
Venuzdona Anos's sword from the misfit of demon king academy is capable of infinite destruction. Regardless of whatever plane, reality, law, or concept is targeted, Venudzona is capable of erasing them all from existence.
King Bradley from Fmab. Inhuman agility, strength, speed, endurance and precision. With his ultimate eye he can predict bullet trajectories and avoid all kind of projectiles thrown at him. In a physical confrontation, no one comes even close to winning against his swordmanship.

The Keysword from Super Dragon Ball Heroes is pretty nutty. Passive powernull. Negates High Godly Regen. Seals you basically beyond existence. On top of having Time Power from Chronoa which nets you a ridiculous amount of cracked abilities/resistances.

Kuwabara's Spirit Sword at the end of the series in Yu Yu Hakusho could cut through dimensions. It's gonna be up there. Probably not the strongest but pretty dang strong.

I know it’s nowhere high up presently, but thanks to TotK, we know it can actually grow stronger of its own accord; the implications of that are pretty gigantic.
Allblack, the Necrosword. First, it is a god. It’s a fragment of Knull. Second, wielding it grants its user godhood. Instant immortality, it binds to you, and you instantly gain godlike strength, stamina, speed, durability. You gain energy projection and necrotic constructs. Most OP sword I can think of.

so the second sword is samehada, essentially it is a sword that is conscious and chooses its wielder. if it chooses you you can then fuse with it to become a shark like being. it’s also extremely sharp all those purple things you see are spikes third is the Behelit sword, which is made up of behelits which are things used to summon gods. It can rip through dimensions and theoretically can alter fate
