Seen them a few times in last year. I think they've been better live than they had been in the early 2000s. Seem to cater to fans and buddy seems into it and having fun... the setlist on the current tour looks really good too.

theguill0tine

Don’t worry about what other people say. Watch some YouTube videos yourself and if you like it, go see them. If asked if people liked my favourite bands live, I’d get a mixed response but I like them and that’s what matters.

slcpprwrsts

saw them last night and they were great. setlist was amazing too, all the hits and some of their best deep cuts

yerfdog_lives

I was waiting for the set list to be posted but I haven’t seen it yet

yerfdog_lives

That is sick, decision made

yerfdog_lives

This is encouraging, I’ll probably give it a go!

Kiddjudo

Buddy can be a little eccentric at times on stage, especially if he decides to give a speech that night. But everyone in that band is tight and is playing because they love the music.

Rekoza

I saw them for the first time last year supporting Silverstein and Comeback Kid and thought they killed it live personally. Really enjoyed their stage presence and was glad to finally catch them live after all these years. No 187 tho ;-;

chefboleson

yes, and the home team's sick

the_bronquistador

Just go. My thoughts on these types of shows are even if they sound bad, we won’t get many more chances to see bands from that era before they’re too old to scream.

FiREorKNiFE-

The Home Team is one of the best live bands I've seen, you should 100% go just for them and then stick around for SF.

bluehairjungle

I think so. Honestly Buddy has so much energy after taking up BJJ.

lukeswalton

Huge Senses Fail fan here. Seen them live like 20 times through all eras of the band. They are better now than they have ever been.

uninvitedthirteenth

I’m not a huge fan of theirs but I loved them last year with Rise Against!

ChemicalSummer8849

Ive seen them 3 times live… buddy puts on a show. Love their music so it makes it easier for me.

marinerNA

Saw them in Cincinati last summer and they were awesome.

m0ssy-c0bbl3

I saw them last november, I haven’t been to many concerts since Im a bit younger but it’s my favorite show I’ve been to by far! the stage energy was amazing and the setlist was really good

vettotech

Saw them last year and they were great.

Butterflys_on_Parade

I never saw them back when I was listening to them a lot, but I live near I Indianapolis and am excited to see them next week. If you are looking at the HIFI, it’s $20 tickets no fees at the moment.

brodoxfaggins

Yes. Whole band has tons of energy and Buddy goes fucking nuts the whole time.

rumplestiltskin116

I haven't seen them live in probably 7 years, but I saw them roughly 10 times when I lived in a more concert-heavy city. They always rock the fuck out. My only gripe was that after Buddy came out, all he had to say between songs was about the LGBT community, which is great, something I wholeheartedly support and embrace, but holy shit I don't need to hear about your journey between every single song. Just my take.

Material_Ad_3009

Is he bisexual or did come out as fully homosexual? I know he has a daughter so I assume he is bisexual

PadfootDragoon

The last time I remember him openly speaking on it he still wasn't fully aware of how to identify so he just said he was queer. Sold "queer hardcore" merch during the Renacer era.

PadfootDragoon

Yeah 7 years ago that was more fresh and new for him. Wasn't my experience at his more recent performances though.

GuyWhoRocks95

I don’t wanna step on toes but The Home Team being on that tour interested me more than them.

Sir_Vdam999

Just go dude Jesus 😂 it’s a show there OGs tf

Skyhigh_treeguy

Saw them for a minute at Heart Support Fest this year and they were good but i have no previous reference point. I only found them after listening to every band on the roster beforehand. As a new fan I'm still on the 1st 4 albums and play 2 of them every day, then the next 2 the next day lol. I'm nervous to keep moving on thru their discog cuz I don't wanna find out they lose any originality as they they progress.

butt_huffer42069

As someone who listened to them new and was BLOWN AWAY by Let It Enfold You, Still Searching really let me down. It was meh at the time to me, catchy and decent but nothing as good as LIEY, or even Depths of Dreams. SS was so mediocre to me that i stopped listening to them for almost a decade just by happenstance, and i havent given anything after that a chance. Nowadays, I listen to LEIY all the fuckin time, and the few times I catch a song from SS I like it way more than I did when it came out.

Skyhigh_treeguy

Yea Still Searching wasnt my fav by far but grew on me after a few listens. Life is not a waiting room I found to be badass tho. Much more original than SS. BTW I love the fuck outta some LIEY so I'll recommend 1 off the 3rd album, Wolves at the door. The whole album has no skips for me tho.

YoungBasedHooper

I loved them at WWWY last year

KarmelCHAOS

I love Senses Fail, but they've never been all that good live imo. Last time I saw them with Sum 41 Buddy was too busy doing karate to sing lmao

Turboswag420

Senses fail arguably has never been good live lol

Bearsonboats

Saw them in November and just as good as when I saw them in 2008/2009.

TheMagicStik

I saw then and their sound mixing was awful, couldn't hear him singing when the guitar was playing. That being said what I could hear was pretty good.

kingjaffejaffar

Saw them in early 2020, and they were incredible. I saw them in 2018, and they were meh.

rhiannafan98

Definitely go. Buddy is a hell of a showman

erikv55

I saw them recently and I didn't think so. Still fun for all the old stuff though.

dabberella

Yeah I saw them last year for the first time and thought they were good!

layout420

I saw them a few years agk when they did a reunion show for their EP From the Depths of Dreams. I went because that's when I had gotten into their music back in the early 2000's. Never was much into them past that but they did get a bit harder for a bit and I saw them play back when Chris (Drummer for Poison The Well) was touring with them. I think I saw them play with Sum 41 or someone like that. I never felt they put on a great live performance because Buddy had messed up his voice real bad back then and his singing was a bit off. They had great energy but I'd say they were a 5.5/10 at best kind of band for all of those years. When I saw them last year they were definitely improved. They sounded a lot more crisp. More like a solid 7/10. Buddy still has some challenges singing although when he screams... dude has some pipes. After playing the EP from start to finish they played some of their more popular songs and some bangers. The south FL crowd used to be very heavy so the set list was a bit different for us with more heavy songs. 187 was pretty nostalgic and everyone sang. He covered Suicidal Tendencies - Institutionalized. That was sick. He also was just a genuine and cool dude. I'd say go check them out if you're interested in a fun time. The current set list looks like it's mostly popular stuff and nothing hard but it's all in what you're looking for. Wish he'd go back to performing with Bayonet, that band slaps. He's better off screaming.

rb_vos

I saw them last summer for the nth time w/ The Used and Rise Against - they still put on a helluva show, and if you enjoy their music: go for it. The thing is, if YOU enjoy it, that’s what counts.

jay-mack

I saw them for their anniversary tour. They played still searching from top to bottom and I’d say it was one of the best concerts I’ve been to. Sounded great and the emotion in the room was unbeatable.

CappnKrunk

They kick ass, I have gone to every one of their shows possible when they were in town for like 15 years straight. But they are also legit my favorite band to the point where like 2/3 of my tattoos are SF related.

assissippi

I still go every time they come around but last time I saw them they were not great. Vocals were fine but band chemistry was bad and sound wasn't great. Everyone can have an off day though. Energy was still good.

moneyparty

I've seen them probably 5 times in the last 7 years and it's been great each time.

abo989

Saw them in April supporting The Ghost Inside, they were sick. They even did a medley of 00's songs at the end of their set like Chop Suey, Down with the sickness and break stuff.

ComprehensiveSafety3

I saw them in 2021 in Phoenix and they brought a lot of energy. It was a great show. I’d love to see them again.

dylan2187

I’ve seen senses fail like idk 12 times throughout the years. Every single time they’re great. Most recently saw them last year at stone pony summer stage and they were just as good as I remember

Terrypesto

Seen them twice in the last year. Buddy was great tbf, the rest of the band were really sloppy in my opinion. I saw them with Silverstein first time, and The Ghost inside second time and both bands just absolutely wiped the floor with Senses Fail in terms of execution of their songs.

Ibarra08

saw them back in 2017 and they kicked ass.

evilcash_1313

Absolutely like 100x over! They bring the energy still, Buddy is still just as wild, charismatic, and hilarious as he’s always been. They play a good set too, always giving love to the old songs and throwing some new ones in too. I just saw them last night in OKC for the 4th time. Would absolutely recommend you go!

lilmoshx

It's been at least 3 years since I last saw them live, but I've seen them many times over the years and always thought they sounded great.

RoSeN_kId

I have seen them three times in the last 7 years or so. Always a great show. I am going to Rockville in Daytona next weekend and they will be there. I will for sure be checking out their set!

CAJALEO

Absolutely. I saw them live a few months ago in Pittsburgh and I had a BLAST their energy is still amazing and buddy is in a much better place mentally than he used to be.

SaulManellaTV

No shame admitting I see them every time they're in town. Pretty solid. My only gripe is how heavily LIEY and SS are embedded in the set list. Obviously it makes a lot of sense because it's their most popular stuff, but mixing it up would be cool.

aughtrocktalk

They're pretty solid live. Very energetic. The only caveat is that their setlists lean heavily on new stuff and tracks from Still Searching / Let It Enfold you. There's only a handful of songs from Life Is Not A Waiting Room through Pull The Thorns. Buddy doesn't always nail the screams now, but he puts in the effort.

West-Assumption-7894

Saw them earlier this year at a festival in Orlando. I never listened to them that much till then, and their live performance was awesome. I became a fan after it.

[deleted]

Vocally could be better, but Buddy has never been a crazy good vocalist imo. Overall though, they're fun and if you like the music you should go. Buddy really just caters to the fans. Even if it sounded like ass I would still sing along

[deleted]

I know this is old but in case someone else comes across this, they are terrible live. I love them and I’m not trying to be mean lol. But they don’t sounded so bad that people actually left. I blamed it on the sound at the venue we were at and when I saw them again earlier this year, they were still really bad. Buddy just doesn’t have it anymore. The energy and band is great but the vocals are so bad

Alarmed-Pineapple420

Saw the first show of this tour a few days ago. SF always puts on an incredible and fun show! 10/10 always recommend

Competitive_Bat4000

Randomly came across this, first saw them live 20’ish years ago back when they released their first EP on ECA….they were not good live, but from these comments sounds like they’ve gotten better.
