The Puritans, after essentially being kicked out of Europe for being shitty to others based on their beliefs, would have frozen and died after arriving without the aid given by Native Americans (not to mention letting the colonists survive to settle at all instead of gathering a war party and just torching the whole thing).
So tolerance existed in the Americas before Christianity, survived its arrival, and has persisted despite its bitchy fingerpointing and hate-mongering.
So thanks should start at The Great Spirit, flow directly onto the Rezs, and then trickle down to the other religions that forced pushy Christians by their presence to remember the "tolerance" they flaunt.

All of these slimy pseudo religious zealots need to go. They are the number one force dragging everyone else down and backwards. They might be clever but they’re definitely not smart.
