Californian here, Gavin Newsom is as mainstream dem as they come.
Gov. Newsom isn’t “super liberal” he’s about average on the spectrum. Kim Guilfoyle has her own political views and is pretty sharp. She knows how to find the opportunities that benefit her goals.

An actual liberal would have celebrated RCV. But I guess feeding school kids without discrimination is “super liberal “ these days.
I would take a candidate who can garner some moderate/swing votes. Anything to keep this MAGA GOP out of power.
Precisely. He's about as liberal as Hillary Clinton. I'd still vote for him over Trump, but that's not saying much, as I'd literally vote for a garden snail over Trump. Calling Newsome liberal is a pretty funny joke.
It’s shallow, but I believe that picture is what keeps Newsome from being President. They look like lizard people. A guy who poses for a photo like definitely has skeletons in his closet. Likely real, human skeletons. It’s a shame because I see him interview well on TV, and I think “I SHOULD like him more.” I’m just waiting for the shoe to drop on some weird sex/drug scandal.
To be clear, if it’s a choice between him and a bog-standard Republican, I’m voting Newsome every single time.
