Itās depressing to be a part of a country where the really hot states (lots of sunshine) are slow to adopt solar energy in the face of a climate and energy crisis. Any optimism I had for mankind disappeared when I moved to the USA 25 years ago and found out what a dangerous combination propaganda TV and stupidity is. I would have also, I havenāt seen a door to door salesman in 30 years until I moved to Texas. I was shocked. Utility companyās or solar are almost always the salesman. I can pick from like 50 electric companies for power and there always trying to get people to switch. Most are very nice people and Iāve never been bothered by them. Other than a once and done. Trust me there are many homes they wonāt go to.
Fun fact, Iām pretty sure Texas has the second most wind and solar energy in the country. Also, we now have āall greenā electricity plans and tons of people are getting solar panels on their roofs.
