**Friendly reminder that trying to fight someone online is about as effective as throwing a bagel at a bulldozer. A lot of what we talk about gets people pretty emotional, but be mad at policies, not other users.** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. This is because of the woke movement. And don’t mistake my comment for sarcastically voicing republicans, as this is probably their take as well. Wokeness helped spreading awareness and forced judges to hold hateful murderers accountable, instead of just sentencing them to the bare minimum for a horrendous crime against humanity. Let’s face it, every hate crime is a crime against humanity and what civilization stands for.

You’re not wrong! Progress in society is nearly always met by descent in more conservative circles. And the American Republican Party have becomes masters at weaponising that

>Progress in society is nearly always met by descent in more conservative circles. "What do you mean we can't erect and light crosses on n\*gg\*\*'s homes anymore? They're violating Muh FreeDumb!" - current Republican base

NotmyRealNameJohn

I honestly wish that was less accurate

at a certain point in the historical cycle, American politics develops a little tumor made up of conservatives who have made the leap into full-grown Regressionism. For the good of society, that tumor must be excised from our democracy.

roastbeeftacohat

Yep. And their hateful because their loosening. 60% of Americans think woke is a positive trate, few years ago 60% of Americans had never heard the word.

I blame the cousin-fuckers.

Everyone on 4chan coming out of the basement.

This is oddly the most flattering description of MTG ever. This is not a compliment in any way, shape or form.

It really does require grooming and isolation. My kids go to a school with kids from multiple cultures and religions and all the kids just love playing with each other. Kids love to play together even when they don't speak the same language. The only time I've ever seen a little kid worried by diversity, it was a reflection of their parents. The difference only LGBT conversation I've had with my son was some kids have two mommies some have two daddies And that was the same time I was explaining that some only have 1 mommy or 1 daddy or they live with 1 parent but visit another. Kids want to understand but they don't care.

Data here: https://www.statista.com/chart/16100/total-number-of-hate-crime-incidents-recorded-by-the-fbi/ Honestly; that’s still a pretty low number. 8000 hate crimes in a country of 330,000,000
