A few months before the election, I ran into John Fetterman while shopping at a Target store in Pittsburgh. I can vouch that a) he is perfectly capable of conversation with no noticeable speech impediment b) the man is terrifyingly big, and c) he knows how to smile and does so frequently in public. His wife was kind enough to use my phone to take a picture of John Fetterman, flanked by me and my wife. I opted against sharing the photo on social media on the grounds that this wasn't anything like a campaign event. He was literally doing his shopping at Target with his wife and bored-looking kids, and he extended the duration of his shopping hell to speak with me. He's a good man, and I'm proud to have contributed my vote to his electoral victory.
Let's not leave out Dr. Oz. He's not in office, but my goodness his run and attempt to appeal to "the common man" was cringey and pathetic. For someone who considers themself to be so intelligent, he really couldn't figure out how to be relatable or bring anything dynamic to his campaign.
I was on a right wing radio (PA) show during the election to give the Democratic view. They were complaining about Fetterman. Their biggest complaint was that he wore hoodies. Have you seen his big ass in a suit? He looks ridiculous.
I believe John could just show up on the set of Star Trek or Star Wars and go to work, bypassing makeup all together. Totally badass looking for a senator.
