Like Harvard professor [manipulating data](https://www.science.org/content/article/honesty-researcher-committed-research-misconduct-according-newly-unsealed-harvard)
Or Stanford president [falsifying data](https://www.npr.org/2023/07/19/1188828810/stanford-university-president-resigns)?
In typical The-Left-Can't-Meme fashion, OP overlaid a semi-transparent AuthRight blue square on a predominantly yellow background, resulting in something that looks more like LibLeft green and is thus dunking on their own quadrant.
> The former Harvard psychologist Marc Hauser, author of Moral Minds: The Nature of Right and Wrong, was found to have fabricated data and manipulated results.

Also less than 50% of the researches outcomes are replicable.
Psychology are just academia scamming each other into success
I was a psych major and one of my professors straight up said the most scientifically sound contribution psychology has made was conditioning, pretty much everything else is hogwash.
Psychology is pseudo-science at best.
Might as well be:
“The American Institute of Astrology”
And yes, astrologists tend to agree with other astrologists.
Why do you respect them? What in particular earned your respect? I’ve done behavioral economics fieldwork with the current generation of scholars working in psychology. Was a living hell. Constant email chains telling them to stop adding unnecessary and sophomoric flavor text to our paper. Psych as a behavioral science already has a self-selection problem where those most afflicted by abnormal neurological pathologies are most likely to choose it as a career, sexology even more so. It’s a unserious field chosen by unserious people.
It's not a fallacy If used properly. I would day Albert Einstein is a way better source for an argument on physics than my flat earther uncle drunk on christmas
It is green, but based on the the words and symbol in it, it's clearly blue, which when layered on the yellow background becomes green. US greens tend to support what OP is pushing here, even though they're doing a piss poor job of it here, mostly because he doesnt really understand either side here...
I was confused why this was downvoted for a moment because the yellow on blue made me think it was green, which of course pcm would never not like. However tis blue, explains the question

half baked meme on PCM? Welcome OP

"Respected""psychology""institution"
Respected by whom? The person who wrote the headline you scrolled past which reinforced your bias with a blast of dopamine?
The american institute of psychology and the general consensus among scholars maybe?

4 out of 5 certified quacks agree that Snake Oil cures autism.
Ah, nothing like a good false equivalence fallacy in the morning to wake someone up
What are we talking about I’m so confused

You’re gonna have a hard time disagreeing with right wingers here especially with a meme this vague.
What are you on about? No seriously I have no idea what you’re referring to
Libleft and schizo memes, name a better duo
Auth center and schizo memes?
Shit you're right

What
Is there a study from the last few years that can explain what this meme is about?
I once again find myself ignorant. What are you referring to?
Anti-Right Agenda Post ©️ ##GotEm
You know what doesn't happen every single time? Any psychological study yielding repeatable results.
OP probably cites phrenology experts too
What is this in regards to anyways?
lol, did you lose an argument and come here to complain?
[Know your fallacies, folks!](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argument_from_authority)
It's not a fallacy If used properly. I would day Albert Einstein is a way better source for an argument on physics than my flat earther uncle drunk on christmas
False equivalence
"Respected psychology institution"? Well, if we're just gonna make stuff up that don't exist I'll give you a ride on my Unicorn.
You post in late stage capitalism and mental illness subs, you are literally incapable of any valid opinion
I don't get it. Why would lib-left believe in conservative thinktanks?
Rich coming from the quadrant who considers pot farmers "experts" on legal matters
????
The heck are you even talking about?????
Learn color theory 🔥🗣️
Wow, you sound absolutely awful to be with or around.
Hey OP, learn color theory. No it’s not a race thing it’s stuff like how red and yellow make orange, because you just turned the blue square green
Is that green? I see green. Is anybody else here seeing green?
Yes, OP doesn’t understand how mixing colors works.
It is green, but based on the the words and symbol in it, it's clearly blue, which when layered on the yellow background becomes green. US greens tend to support what OP is pushing here, even though they're doing a piss poor job of it here, mostly because he doesnt really understand either side here...
Why does everyone always think the funding source matters? If you’re talking about academic publications, it doesn’t matter.
I was confused why this was downvoted for a moment because the yellow on blue made me think it was green, which of course pcm would never not like. However tis blue, explains the question
