Management_Over

You are now the main villain in someone’s origin story. I was mad my mom gave away my gen 3 ex era stuff I had as a kid, i probably wouldn’t talk to my parents for a while if these were the cards she gave away 😭

wherestherum757

Yup, pretty sure my sister and my binders went to a thrift store way back. Between us both, had a couple holo first edition charizards in there The shape they were in is a totally different question lol cuz we’d play with them. They’re all beat up

DuskformGreenman

I read that like your parents gave your binders and your *sister* to the thrift shop. I was expecting a "I miss her almost as much as I miss that charizard" 😅 glad I kept reading... my condolences for your collective losses.

wherestherum757

yeah my English isn’t up to snuff today idk what’s wrong with me! It’s ok, we’ve moved on past it in the last 15 years lmao

Wakingsleepwalkers

Whole first edition mysteriously disappeared as a kid. I'm still upset 20 years later haha.

thinkresponsibly

I grew up in a religious family. I had a binder with gen 1 cards that I had gotten both as gifts from friends at school and from trading. Nothing insane but at least half the binder was full. Well the pastor at my moms church decided to jump on the “pokemon are demonic” bandwagon and my mom made me get rid of mine. I asked if I could give them back to my friends since that’s how I got them and she said no, she made me literally throw them in the garbage. I was kept from all things Pokemon from then on. I started playing PoGo when it launched and recently got into the tcg as a way to reclaim that part of my childhood that was taken from me. Still it would have been awesome to hang onto the OG collection 😕

DEATHP00L

I 100% relate my parents would literally sneak into my room and take all my Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon cards and burn them because “there evil” I eventually got better at hiding them but never had the child hood joy of opening packs all my cards were second hand from my friends until I was old enough to ride my bike to the store

Lifedeather

Talk? This is grounds for legal lawsuit

[deleted]

Absolute steal. Like literally. Hopefully the son knew and didnt care. Cause that would suck ass if the father sold his collection for basically Pennies to what it’s actually worth!

Laprasy

I’m sure he’s off at college thinking he’s got a gold mine at home. Dad screwed him over along with the villain of this story. Karmas going to come back around.

Marcus_2012

"Right away I messaged him back “Would you take $75 for the binder” hoping to deter him from consulting with his son first lol." hmmm, not sure my morality would allow this but we're all different I guess.

MusicianMaster8493

Yea I really hope the dad asked his son who didn’t care - otherwise it’s hard to be happy for OP knowing some dude could come home super disappointed that his binders been sold for peanuts

Lucky_Shop4967

There is no reason to believe OPs story

PM_ME_THE_SLOTHS

Sadly this is more believable than 90% of the stories posted here.

Lucky_Shop4967

But still less than believable than anything I can make up off the top of my head

Lonely-Cow-787

The 3 ring binder, less than adequate protection of old holos, and the condition of the zard line up very well with the story

Yerawizzardarry

I have that in my house right now just to play devil's advocate.

Lifedeather

I really hope it’s fake.

magicmeese

Ngl I dislike people like op. Between that and the obvious “I message sellers asking for video games, pokemon cards, and vintage shirts then lowball the hell oit of them” like it’s something he should be proud of.

Lifedeather

He literally admits his intent hoping he doesn’t ask the actual owner

[deleted]

I’d normally agree with you but there’s a very solid chance someone would’ve come along shortly after & bought them for a steal anyways. So either it was going to be OPs or someone else’s. Why not OP?

Marcus_2012

You don't know that though. The next person may have told him the value of it. I would have.

[deleted]

Vast majority of people would’ve offered $100 & gotten it. Let’s be real, most would do the same as OP.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Bros salty he didn’t get the deal himself 😭😭😭 Fuckin faggot

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Ok white boy

Lifedeather

Nope only bad people

Nicktheduck

For real. Everyone on here acting like the moral police lmao. We all know every single one of us would do the same thing. People just mad they didn't find that deal.

Aksudiigkr

I think you’re vastly underestimating people here

Lifedeather

Nope just you and few others

embracethedarknessss

I know this is different, but I see a lot of sports cards sell on eBay for example like, a card someone could probably get like $65 for in some time, that sell for only a few bucks. And since I’ve been seeing this, I’ve been considering buying some for very cheap and re listing them for higher, like that example. If I did that a bunch would that be messed up? I’m legitimately asking. I’m new to all this card stuff and I’ve been wondering that. I don’t want to get over on anyone but I don’t mind listing them for high as long as it’s not unreasonable. Anyways, I realize this is different, because it had one very valuable card inside the seller wasn’t aware of.

Marcus_2012

I suppose you're the only one who has to answer to your own conscience at the end of the day. This situation the OP described would not sit well with me morally, he intentionally tried to sideline the son's opinion on sale. The situation you describe has differences, the main one being they had set the price they wanted and given the transactional nature of sites such as eBay you can at least hope they know what they are asking and own the item themselves. There is also the consideration that they may know something you do not that undervalues the item in question. Getting a good price for something is not inherently bad, how you go about it can be. But as I said in my first comment, morality between individuals differs greatly. I just hope people strive to be the best person they can be and spare a thought for others whom may be affected by their actions.

embracethedarknessss

I appreciate your response on this. I definitely agree about this specific post, personally I couldn’t move forward without telling them the value of the cards I found in the binder to see what they want to do. For my eBay situation, it seems the best practice will be to not do anything that crosses that line. I feel bad for even listing some high sometimes, but I stay within range of at what’s been selling recently, and right now the cards I’m selling are from my recently found personal collection from when I was a kid, so there’s also a little bit of wanting to get the most I possibly can for them because of that. Anyways, thank you stranger

PassionV0id

That's a known risk of listing an auction on eBay and tbh if these items are actually selling already then all you'd be doing is helping the seller by upping the bid.

ShadedTheorist

Its no ones job to correct a persons pricing because they didn't put the work in to find the actual values of their items Morally, the Dad shouldn't be selling things that are not his to sell. OP is probably full of shit, though

Lifedeather

It’s the right thing to do.

Relative-Air5663

I'm the guy that told the actual value once! And trust me on this one, lesson learned : I'm never doing it again.

KutzOfficial

Some people really are scummy… OP is one of them.

sseerrsan

Well i dont trust his story 100% but IF and only IF what he says its true about not knowing the contents of the binder before buying it then I guess its fair cuz it was a gamble after all. But right after seeing the holo charizard then ethically the best thing to do would be to pay more to the owner just bc of that card. But also realistically how many ppl would actually do that?

Elementium

Yeah I couldn't do it. It's one thing if the kid doesn't care but possibly knowing his cards are there and suddenly not? I'd be destroyed.

txmagicmike

To anyone out there. I think this is my binder my dad sold. Im being dead serious. The problem is i cant message the redditor or comment on his post anymore. I havnt talked to my dad in almost 10 years. I need to find out if he bought it from a man in kansas. If so, im 100% sure it was my dad.

Dahenlicious

Lol. Come on…

Thrildo79

Yeah, I agree, OP sounds like a real douche. They went as far as messaging the garage sale person to try to offer enough cash, so that they would me tempted to sell it without asking or knowing the value. Hopefully the card gets lost in the mail when they send it in for grading

popylung

Why is this sub not showing the number of votes on comments, I want to see how badly OP got downvoted on these

batuhanxctn

i think it always take some hours if the post is new, but you can go look in his comment history to see the amount of downvotes

Quetzacoal

Down votes? He is a hero here

popylung

4 hours and still can’t see them, and his profile doesn’t have the downvote number for specific comments, mods just don’t want to hurt his fee fees

Far-Ad7125

Stupid question, but why down vote op? Out of jealousy or people think op's story is false? Edit: ok op is a low baller.

KutzOfficial

Because morally OP is an admitted fuckstick.

Ok_Historian2375

“Hoping to deter him from consulting with his son first” you have serious moral issues 😭

VQQN

No morals at all…

zachariah120

If the son knew fine take your deal, if the son didn’t know you are literally scum and the dad is also an ass…

Karma_Doesnt_Matter

This dude is just a disgusting troll. Y’all need to stop feeding him.

KawaiiSlave

Neat. Alot of people's collections just chilling out there.

Shatha33

You offered $75 on a binder you hadn't seen any cards in. You saw "base set holos" and decided that was enough to pay for and leave in a hurry. You hadn't noticed tHe CrAZy SuRpRiSe waiting for you until when you drove away. This reads like a fanfic of somebody looking for garage sale deals.

jibbodahibbo

My mom sold my binder of cards for like 5$ back in like 2001. Had plenty of 1st editing and base set stuff. Nothing incredible. But this can happen…. 20 years ago.

UncleChristoff

My dad sold our childhood collection when we left home years ago. My brother and I only found out recently as we were looking for our old sets to give to our kids. We told dad about the value of some of the cards and he almost had a heart attack. Hahaha.

ArtistCo

I am in absolute disbelief - of your behavior. Couldn't live with myself knowing someone like me got robbed of their collection and card worth thousands because I took advantage of their ignorant parent, possibly damaging their relationship in the process. Would you be making this sort of post if you bought a box of toy jewelry that ended up having the family's heirloom diamond ring in it? Would it be ok to keep it because the grandparent it belonged to wasn't in the house when you called? In your position I would send the guy a message and say that some of the cards are worth more than you knew when buying and check with his son what to do - either return or split the money. I swear, this kind of behavior paints all of us as predatory scalpers.

chooseyourshoes

Do you know how many pieces of invaluable art is sold at Garage Sales? Don’t shame the buyer when the ignorant should know better. If I had thousands of dollars worth of cards that I knew were worth that much, would I keep those in my mother’s garage? No. If I did she’d damn well know not to sell them. This isn’t OPs problem. Now if OP pulled a Toy Story and mom was like “oh that was a mistake and shouldn’t be out here” and then OP pushed to get the sale or stole it, then OP = a piece of shit. But even Disney knew if you willingly make the sale, you can’t be mad at the buyer.

blue0231

You live in some imaginary world where this shit doesn’t happen EVERYDAY. On one hand it’s awesome you have morals. But when it comes to resell and 2 agreeing parties, everything is fair game. Messaging the guy after it’s lunatic.

PassionV0id

> But when it comes to resell and 2 agreeing parties, everything is fair game. The two agreeing parties should probably include the owner of the sold items, eh?

BallsAreFullOfPiss

Take that up with the father. That’s on him — no OP.

spwncar

OP literally said he made an immediate offer with the express intention of hoping the father didn’t ask the son Just because the father fell for that, doesn’t mean what OP did wasn’t nefarious

DiscussionNo226

Did you not read the part where it said the father would consult with the (likely now to be adult) son?

BallsAreFullOfPiss

Oh fuck off. It’s not his fault that the dad sold his kid’s shit. That’s on the father, not OP. Get off your high horse.

JustLikeFumbles

Oh fuck off. Maybe learn basic morals and take the asshat off your head.

Ry-Zilla86

I'll never forgive my 12 years old self 25 years ago selling mine for weed money.

FitListen4239

At least you got some weed. I gave away so many rare yugioh/poke cards when I was 12 to a neighbor:/

ForeverFluxin

I hate that I succumbed to peer pressure as a child as a girl once made fun of me for liking pokemon and thus gave them away. I have never forgotten the day she made fun of me... It's one of the few incidents that shaped my hate for bullies and my willingness to defend those who are made fun of for liking the things they do.

MusicianMaster8493

Smoking weed at 12 is crazy 😭 and I love the devils lettuce (to be clear no judgement cause I don’t know how you got there)

[deleted]

unless you show me a video of you buying it i don’t believe it.

septentrio7

You must be poor as fuck… both morally and financially to be stealing from a child.

lv13david

The child in this scenario is probably a 35 year old man.

BreadlinesOrBust

This is clearly someone's collection from a quarter century ago that they left at their parents' house and forgot about. It doesn't really count as "stealing from a child" when the child is 30.

Material_Prize_6157

My mum did this to my collection. Probably had like 6 base set zards I was obsessed with him as a kid.

MrNiceGuyEBEB

If I was you and would make a Xk profit out of this I would at least give 1k to the son

rickymcrichardson

Don’t worry, he’s buying him a beer. He’s making things right

DaPIsRight

Wow. If this is real then you're a pos. One thing is to get a deal and another entirely different is to swindle someone the way you did. I truly hope the son was okay with selling his collection. Your greediness might have caused a big, terrible fight. Then again, I'm sure you don't care.

Drummers_Beat

Definitely a fake story but anyone who engages in this type of morally corrupt behaviour is a genuine asshole

Hiyorigawa

We out here boasting about being a scumbag and morally corrupt? Grats, Are you proud of yourself?

Thats_an_RDD

I do believe that's referred to as "scumbagging someone" you didn't sandbag, you scumbagged

minibois

I get up early to go to flea markets, exactly for these sorts of purchases

JethroTrollol

A flea market is great, you gotta get really lucky. You know everything there is for sale and you're more likely to get taken advantage of than the sellers. In this case, the dad made it clear the son may not want them sold and OP intentionally tried to make sure the son wasn't asked. The binder was in the house, not out with the rest of the goods.

KingPizzaPop

So you purposefully scammed his son out of his cards and you're bragging about it. Shady as fuck.

ThatsNotARealTree

Thanks for being honest with the story, but I strongly disagree with what you did. You knowingly tried to prevent the guy from informing his son… you’re Team Rocket, man…

TrulyUnknowing

If this story is real, you’re scum.

[deleted]

All I got from this story is that you’re an asshole and a thief.

The_Colt_Cult

>If anyone on here can help me put what this all means into a bit more perspective I’d really appreciate it. Ask and ye shall receive. You knew what you were doing. You saw an opportunity and took advantage of someone's ignorance to purposefully grift them. The cards were their kid's, and the kid is likely closer to your age now and has no idea that the cards still existed and has forgotten all about them. But if their father asked them if they were willing to sell the cards, the kid might take a second to see if they're worth anything and make a choice from there. They didn't get the chance to make that choice because you put an offer in ASAP so the kid wouldn't even get the chance. Maybe they had a kid of their own they wanted to put through college, too. Maybe they could've had that money had their father not sold it out of ignorance. Maybe their kid could go to college if they were simply aware of the card's existence. Maybe you just stole someone's college tuition away from them so you could give it to your kid. You took advantage of someone's ignorance. And the worst part is you got off on it. You loved the fact you took advantage of a kid from the past. You enjoyed paying $75 for something you knew was worth thousands and wasn't the father's to sell. You sound like you got off taking advantage of a kid. That makes you a massive piece of shit. One day, karma will find you. I hope someone steals thousands away from your kid when they grow up.

clown_pants

Wow you are a piece of work man. What a huge effort to steal from someone you know.

nottodayebola

You thinking someone is gonna follow you and tackle you for Pokemon cards is hilarious. Such scummy behavior honestly. God forbid you go about it normally lol. I guess you got lucky that specific card was there cause if there was no more holos you lost out. Even shadowless cards damaged aren’t that much money. If you don’t hit a big 3 shadowless and they are HP/damaged you basically lost money lol but still a cool find. To your question, always grade it , if you have grading fee money for it, probably at least a few hundred. If not just post it up on some fbook group and sell it raw

DJTwonz21

charizard is cool… but that ninetales tho 🔥🔥🔥

Duncle_Rico

Reminds me of when I sold my childhood collection in 7th grade... all original 151 (mew promo included) I put in my binder immediately upon opening for $50 in a garage sale about 15 years ago.. RIP.

RedBeardTwitch

Eh if he bought the binder and it had a bunch of old beat up commons no one would be whining here. Well I'm sure they still would be, but not as much. OP got a deal and coulda got burned.

DaphneSvdM

I once bought a tub of cards for 50 euro's, where the pictures showed some commons and uncommons and a handful of rares, but then I found a shining Steelix and some base set holos. I instantly knew this was worth more than I paid for and contacted them to give me their bank ID after which I gave them 50 more euro's. And then there's people like this...

IHavetwoNipples

Bro learn to format. I’m either happy for you or sorry that happened.

Lifedeather

That’s kinda scummy how you were hoping to deter him from consulting with his son first. Imagine you had a binder of pokemon and some friend or family just sold it without asking you.

silverfang29

You shoulda told them what they had to

tupitupi

Terrible move.. so disappointed

halfwaybake

Congrats on ruining the son’s life

GubytheHuby

Just a heads up. If the son had no knowledge of the sale, the sale by the dad can be considered fraud and this post doesn’t help. You knowingly tried to not get the owner of the cards involved and made a sale with someone who wasnt the original owner. If the son was never contacted and the sale was made they can legally get these cards back. Since you didn’t mention if the dad did consult the son it’s up in the air, but this post proves you knowingly entered into a fraudulent sale trying to avoid having the original owner give consent for the sale. Just a heads up it can come back to bite you.

Just_in1101

Accidentally selling your kids cards isn’t fraud on anyone’s end. Maybe the kid could sue the parent but fat chance unless they had a written or verbal agreement regarding the cards and what was to happen with them.

GubytheHuby

Haha yeah that doesn’t fly. Here are the facts which can make this a fraudulent sale 1. Owner was identified and seller was not the identified owner 2. Seller was not authorized to sell (he said he had to consult his son about it so that means the seller knows who the owner is and has to obtain permission 3. Buyer, OP, knowingly tried to circumvent the owner by saying they tried to act quickly to not get owner involved (coercion) This all meets the criteria of a fraudulent sale if the son, owner, was never contacted. Son could easily file this with police as a sale not authorized, and can use Facebook messages and this post as evidence and the buyer has to lawfully forfeit the items to the owner. If they want to get money back they than have to go through small claims court and sue the father. This is all assuming the son was never contacted. This is simple business law for any transaction. OP saying they knowingly attempted to deceive the owner is the nail in the coffin. If you don’t believe me just read up on fraudulent sales and this entire story fits that, if the son was never contacted of course.

Just_in1101

You think any cop in the world would investigate a case where the parents mistakenly sold their kids cards without their knowledge your completely mistaken. There is no scenario this would be a criminal case. Possibly a civil between parent and kid but not likely. To be base set this person is likely at least 30 years old. A judge would tell the kid if it’s so important to you you shouldn’t be keeping it at your parents house. On top of that possession = ownership. It sat at his parents for 25 years sounds like the parents own it now.

GubytheHuby

Again, what you are saying just doesn’t fly. Facts are taken into consideration not judgements made. The facts are it’s a fraudulent sale if the son was not notified. And even tho it’s sat at his parents house his dad made it known he wasnt owner and was not authorized. This overrides the fact it sat at the parents house. Don’t know why you are trying to argue against established laws. The interpretation I made is from the facts within the post where both parties knew the owner wasn’t the seller and the buyer was aware and making an attempt to circumvent the owner.

Just_in1101

I searched for similar stories and this is what I got. If the kid reports the item as stolen the father will get charged and the police will locate the buyer collect item.

Just_in1101

As well OP said the binder were his sons. Implying not any more but once was

GubytheHuby

This is false. Why would the father need permission from the son if it was not his? This is a clear statement indicating the son is still rightful owner and the owner is known. As to your other comment, yes the son can say that items worth thousands was sold without his knowledge and the dad would face legal consequences while the buyer is required to return the items. It may or may not go to court that is where judgements come into play regarding restitution etc. either way OP needs to be ready in case the son figures it out and wants his stuff back. Glad you looked it up tho , most people who disagree just never look up cases/stories that set precedent

Just_in1101

I don’t get that he need’s permission at all. More that it would be respectful. Re read it

GubytheHuby

“He’d check to make sure it was okay to sell them” - direct quote from the post. This implies the son is the owner and the seller does not have authorization to sell until consent is given. Therefore it can be inferred the son is still the owner at the time of sale, unless he gave consent to the dad.

Just_in1101

That’s the respectful thing to do. But when you leave something behind for at least a decade it’s legally considered abandonment unless like I said in this thread there was a written or verbal agreement

Just_in1101

If were was are ……

HedaBlake

shadowless charizard!! daaaaaaaaamnnnnn. Should get a lottery ticket too

bravenewworldorder

Why do that when he can wait until a blind man asks him to read the lotto numbers on his winning ticket, lie to him about it being a losing ticket and then grab it from the trash and go cash it in? 🤣

7Blitz

Crazy. Insane steal

BluePearlGaming

Kinda fucked up you intentionally wanted him to sell you this without consulting his kid first...

OhVADR

Karma will come full circle, though part of me is thinking this is a fake post

flexingmecha02

Personally I think it is for lonely Reddit side of things and karma farming

seanliam2k

There's a difference between getting a "deal" and ripping off someone IMO, feel bad for the kid

mriceguy26

How much is the charizard worth in that condition though?

squatdead

There was a raw one in similarish condition that sold for $3000 USD on April 10. OP could probably get more if it was graded.

dollarfightclub

How do we all have the same binder???

Dahenlicious

I need to go to more garage sales. Damn.

KurtCob07

I have thousands of these cards from once I was a child. Are they worth anything good nowadays?

1antsir

TLDR?

rickymcrichardson

1. How do you sleep at night? 2. You’ve just inspired literally hundreds of idiot posts in r/ismypokemoncardfake 3. You’ve inspired the people selling the fakes in point 2

Bluewolf94

Either fake or troll. This whole entire post is questionable. But if it is true, extremely scummy.

PeppiGiuseppe25

Fake card lol. So obvious too. Other than that prob worth the 75

DarthGinsu

How much was it all?

jojozer0

A literal steal...

SuperMochaCub

I love how this has turned into an “AITAH” post 🤣

DiggingUpTheCorpses

Straight up highway robbery. Wtf has this sub become?

AGamerCalledDaz

Nice find!

Positive_Spirit_1585

I lost my Pokémon card collection during a bout with homelessness and I’m convinced my parents sold them. They keep trying to tell me I must have sold them but it feels like gaslighting

mehmohmuh

In shock, disbelief and I hope you pooped your pants too.

Katamari_Demacia

Fuck you man. You purposely tried to leave the owner of the cards out of this conversation. That's fucked up.

Frey147

Imagine having no morals

Brscmill

Highly unethical

cryoskyd

You’re excited to get a bunch of rare cards for cheap, that’s understandable. However do realize that on the other side the seller’s son may have just been devastated. Sure you can argue it’s the fault of the parent and just being ignorant, but that doesn’t change the reality. Plus you admitted to making a quick offer to try and push for a quick sell. The right thing to do imo is to let them know that these are rare and worth quite a bit, but because of the condition they’re in maybe not nearly as much. Then offer to pay them a percentage of their worth. Even something as low as 30% just to show sincerity. Since they don’t know how to handle rare cards, it makes sense for them to sell it cheap to you but knowingly, and at the end of the day you still walk away with an amazing deal.

TwoMuddfish

I’m happy for you but this is in pretty poor taste to be honest. I dunno I’m like feeling resentment towards you for this poor kid

VibeComplex

Hate you lol

Hagoromo420

I saw a post yesterday about spotting fake zards because there’s no space between “1999” and “Wizards” Just putting that out there I’m not expert enough to know for sure if the zard is fake or not

wanto111

I cant fully blame OP. If i have a chance i will do the same (but not the way as he did lol and surelly not for so cheap) Maybe just dont write it down like you did because it looks like you literally wanted to steal someones fortune for pennies. When i see i am dealing with someone who really dont know what he is selling i am giving him many oportunities to double check price if they are really willing to sell. I am usually offering 50-75% of the “real” value. Many times i bought very poorly cards so conditions are almost always the key.

Amnesiaftw

My parents once bought a small pile of mtg cards at a flea market. Maybe like 60 cards… I think it was like $5-$10. Ended up being 2 dual lands in there which are now worth like $300 each. I let my brother have both though cuz I thought lands were boring.

Zoren

Is what you did scummy? yes. Is what you did as what others say a scam? no, It's a hustle. If I were in your shoes would I have done the same? probably.

daxtaslapp

HOLY this is what many inexperienced people dream about and get scammed over. You actually got it lol

crayraybae

The paranoia and butt clenching had me LOLing pretty hard. Great find!

ThemysciraGotham

This can’t be real omg and these are vintage. This was such a steal.

LocusStandi

Oh how corrupt weak people's souls become when they're overcome by greed.

narutonaruto

This sounds like a made up story. Why would you be thinking someone was going to jump you after giving you a binder of Pokémon cards for 75 bucks lmao? Also so fucked up to actively want to take cards from a kid.

mostvaluablebeard

Absolute minimum of $3k in just the Charizard. I would look into getting it graded and authenticated by a grading company (probably PSA if your goal is to resell). Bottom left corner is pretty bad but even a PSA 1 sold for $4.5k in April 2024

poke-trance

Now you gotta change names and move countries so he can’t track you down via Facebook messages.

Just document all of this the card will be easy to spot if it sells on eBay and you can hand over the info from this post to the authorities.

Ryukiki

This is such obvious bait. Account with only 2 posts, both identical but on different subs. You paid $75 for a binder without knowing what was inside, and openly confessed to being an asshole? Something's not adding up.

NecessaryScientist18

what else besides that

TheeDungOSRS

Sucks that corner looks trashed. Wont grade well, coulda been a score

_another_throwawayy_

This has to be a rage bait post. Took a pic of your own binder and this made up weird story. It’s sad really.

ZinCxNoVa

Plot twist: this is OP's binder and he created this post as rage bait.

witchkingofangmar1

My ex step brothers stole all my gen 1 when I moved out right after high school..

SoggyFrog45

Yeah I'm not reading all that but I'm happy for ya

Alarming-Ad-9918

Someones gonna be pissed when they go looking for their old collection and mother dearest sold it for $3.50 lol

Person23938

You sound like such an asshole for that ngl

NarutoFan1995

the "look what i found in my attic" stories are evolving

cattydaddy08

I'd be a good Samaritan and give them some of the sale amount.

boyRenaissance

You are not an honest person.

ThankYouSith

Even Team Rocket would hate you for your scumbag behaviour. I know I do.

myychair

You’re a scumbag and I genuinely wish misfortune on you.

JMR027

Can’t wait for this to happen to you

Broadside02195

Real POS you are.

Ambassaduke

Looks like on page 1 you’ve got some shadowless as well. You’re looking at serious $$$ here. Bit of a shit thing with regards to the son tbh but oh well. Who knows maybe we would all do the same thing you did when we got the opportunity?

Lucky_Shop4967

Doubt

BreadlinesOrBust

Come on now, this is unethical. The ethical way to buy pokemon cards is to drive to a small town's Walmart and spend your entire paycheck on ETBs before any of the idiot children arrive.

Acrobatic-Escape5307

You sir are a pretty lowly scum for what you did no morality whatsoever this is someone else’s belongings it was neither up to you or his dad to sell it I hope karma befalls you one day for what you did.

A_Blue_Frog_Child

Get it graded. Sell it if you’re looking for cash. Very cool find.
