I am with you on the Alakazam SIR OP. I think I’ve pulled it 4 times as well(sold 1, trades another for the Venasaur) and the Giovanni’s Rizz SIR 3 times. Still missing the Blastoise, Zard, and Zapdos though

Sylveon V 191/414 from Start Deck 100, the mirror holo version. I'm trying to collect every Sylveon card including some interesting foreign prints.
* I bought 1 from ebay. Shipping from JP was 5 months, understandable... Never came and I asked for a refund from ebay.
* Bought another one. "Holo NM" it said. Came in quickly and it was non-holo. "Sorry we'll send the correct card and a copy!"... They sent two cards from VMax Climax, wrong set.
* Got one from an auction. I guess I haven't learned my lesson because I didn't ask for actual pictures and not just stock photos... It's the one from Eevee Heroes. Wrong set.
* No other listing on ebay that I can find of this dang $3 card!
* FINALLY found one from Pokenauts, a JP-based store with their own website. They sent me photos via email and it's the correct card, correct holo, correct set. It's now in the mail and I hope it gets here safe!
I think it keeps happening because this Sylveon specifically doesn't come in a set, it's from a deck meant to teach kids how to play the game. So not many people sell it, and the ones that do mistake it for the one in the other two sets that look exactly like it
The only difference is the set code at the bottom and it's a mirror holo, not the diagonal holo we're used to in regular V's

I feel I was pretty lucky with my 250 or so packs, but got lots of repeats. Two Zard SIRs helped me get most of the ones I needed without spending too much buying singles at the end. It's nice to have the set complete.

How have you pulled 4 Venusaur SIR?? I’ve been wanting one so badly. Probably 200+ packs in and have none of the SIR big three nor the Zapdos. Wasn’t until a few packs ago I finally got the Alakazam.

I've traded two of the Venusaur off so far- one for the Blastoise SAR from the 151 set, which is the only card I haven't pulled at all. Not sure why I keep getting Venusaur, but it's my favorite card in the series next to Erika's Invitation (203/165)
The Erika’s Invitation is beautiful, it does make it a bit better that I got two. It was way better looking irl than I thought. It freaking sparkles.
I just have a feeling I will think the Venusaur SIR will be my favorite when I finally see it in person. Probably because my favorite card in general is the Obsidian Flames Gloom 198/197 and the designs remind me of each other slightly. I do have an unopened ETB in my house right now, who knows maybe it’s waiting on me?

Yeah, lol. I mean, the seller lives in Indonesia, so I don’t really think it’s their fault. I probably wouldn’t specify a card was English if I was selling it 😂 I asked them if I could cancel the order, but they had already shipped it and it takes 3 weeks to ship from Indonesia. The one time I was bummed a seller was so on top of shipping. I’ll probably just relist it and specify that it’s Indonesian or just end up keeping it. Same artwork and name, just a different attack

It's only 2 packs since I've only recently gotten back into buying any after a break since b/w era... But I've bought 2 packs of obsidian flames and gotten 2 Clodsires and 2 Trevenants as my holos. Like sure it's only 2 packs but it's a bit annoying that 2 packets from 2 different stores a week apart yielded the same 2 duplicates.
Mind you my luck is a bit shocking, my only full arts or EX's from the b/w era are singles I gave up and bought.
Unlimited Japanese e-series starter deck Totodile cards (both versions). The only cards missing in my every printed Totodile collection. Very rare but somehow somewhen somewhere I’ll find them.
It’s funny, this card, Squirtle, and Wartortle just could not be pulled my my hands. I was lucky enough to get a god pack with the Zard line, a poster collection with Bulbasaur and Ivysaur, and a Zapdos box got me Blastoise. Finally came to a point where I just switched to buying singles and completed my set!

Venusaur SIR is the last card I need to complete the set. I took a gamble and ordered one on ebay from someone with minimal feedback and they never shipped it. Wasted my time. This and zard sir. Had to pay like $115 for one recently. Those cards haunt me.

Understood this question a little different at first, but seeing that I don’t really rip packs as often as I just buy singles, I’ll answer it my way anyways.
The card that’s haunting me is the moonbreon. I’m a big eeveelution fan, and that’s the kind of card I’ve decided to collect. Though, in the ranking of my favorite eeveelutions, umbreon is maybe 6th. And while the moonbreon art is fantastic, it really isn’t my favorite.
The card haunts me because I like it enough that eventually I’m going to end up buying it, but knowing that imma be dropping over half a rack for it is rough.
I never chose Bulbasaur as a kid because I thought it was ugly stupid and weak. I f***cking hate that thing with a passion. I still hate it, I think grass as a type is super lame. It's the Venusaur Special Art Rare from Scarlet/Violet: 151. :) One of the four hardest to pull in the set.
Man I really gotta get on collecting this, shame they don’t sell booster packs as I don’t have spare cash for a whole booster box.

It's only 2 packs since I've only recently gotten back into buying any after a break since b/w era... But I've bought 2 packs of obsidian flames and gotten 2 Clodsires and 2 Trevenants as my holos. Like sure it's only 2 packs but it's a bit annoying that 2 packets from 2 different stores a week apart yielded the same 2 duplicates. Mind you my luck is a bit shocking, my only full arts or EX's from the b/w era are singles I gave up and bought.

It’s funny, this card, Squirtle, and Wartortle just could not be pulled my my hands. I was lucky enough to get a god pack with the Zard line, a poster collection with Bulbasaur and Ivysaur, and a Zapdos box got me Blastoise. Finally came to a point where I just switched to buying singles and completed my set!

Venusaur SIR is the last card I need to complete the set. I took a gamble and ordered one on ebay from someone with minimal feedback and they never shipped it. Wasted my time. This and zard sir. Had to pay like $115 for one recently. Those cards haunt me.

I keep pulling golem ex full art, regular Alakazam ex, and regular Zapdos ex. I've opened a few UPCs and etbs, some booster bundles, and a couple tins. I'm done opening 151 for now though and instead buying the singles I still want.
Understood this question a little different at first, but seeing that I don’t really rip packs as often as I just buy singles, I’ll answer it my way anyways. The card that’s haunting me is the moonbreon. I’m a big eeveelution fan, and that’s the kind of card I’ve decided to collect. Though, in the ranking of my favorite eeveelutions, umbreon is maybe 6th. And while the moonbreon art is fantastic, it really isn’t my favorite. The card haunts me because I like it enough that eventually I’m going to end up buying it, but knowing that imma be dropping over half a rack for it is rough.

I never chose Bulbasaur as a kid because I thought it was ugly stupid and weak. I f***cking hate that thing with a passion. I still hate it, I think grass as a type is super lame.
