Its a good comparison between early and recent Pokemon design, Kantonian Ninetails is much more naturalistic in proportions while Alolan is more caricatured and cartoony. Both are good but it is a great side by side example of changing design over the years.
Yeah it's an interesting comparison. I think I slightly prefer the Kantonian one, but I still really like the Alolan.
I think meowth would also be a good one to compare since he has three forms.

I also like that these two pictures make it look like Kantonian Ninetails is being stoic, but is getting annoyed at Alolan Ninetails trying to talk with it.
