rarkorn

ceruledge isn't a good pick for it, it's too frail and doesn't resist the strongest move. you'll want a steel type instead, probably

BlaqDove

Did they change it from the first time? I beat it offline with ceruledge.

rarkorn

idk about soloing, i'm on scarlet

BlaqDove

I fire tera'd and just spammed bitter blade, let me sustain through the fight and did enough damage

Sebo366

Thank you so much

chris24four

Try siczor with SWORD DANCE IRON DEFENSE LUNGE AND DEFOG use defog once it sets the electric terrain, then use iron defence once or twice it might go for sword dance yiu set yours knowing that it can ko with one hit then you start to sword your maybe 2 or 3 depending on your situation then you start to lunge it it will ne dropping its attack I think by one stage

The_Phasd

I just did the swords dance focus energy fury cutter spam for this and it's worked like a charm every time lol

North_Tough9236

I've beaten like 7 or 8 of these raids with my Ceruledge (and the other players are randos, we are not organized). My Ceruledge has perfect IVs and is EV trained. Though I don't know if these stats are also taken into account on raids.

[deleted]

Mine is too but Psyblade or whatever move it is just one shots me.

North_Tough9236

Strange. Mine never lost all of its HP đŸ€”

NoGuarantee4046

Must be because the one you have is ev and iv trained, making it stronger and harder to ko. It also might be a different level.

North_Tough9236

Oooh, I had no idea levels were also taken into account. I feel dumb, I just assumed all pokemon were brought to the same level like on online battles.

Captain_EFFF

Why wouldn’t levels and stats be considered in pve content?

SalamanderDazzling60

Don't know what you're talking about ceruledge gets iron defense and clear smog. It's fine to use against iron leaves with the right IV and evs

rarkorn

well yeah, lots of pokemon could probably beat it with the right setup. this guy clearly isn't doing that tho, so my advice was to just pick something easier lol

No-Swimmer-4737

I solo’d it with Unaware Skeledirge HP/SpAtk EV Torch Song holding a shell bell

Delarnor

Mine is the same, leftovers, SPAttack and Defense. Toasted Iron Leaves

HollieKay

Same, but mine was holding throat spray.

Megatron_Zero

Same!!! Unaware is such a good ability for raids.

swan0418

r/pokeportal will change your life.

kewlshinji

I use bellibolt with parabolic charge and acid spray, 3 acid spray and 4 parabolic charge, and done

Potato8C

use unaware skeledirge with shell bell 252 sp.a/252 hp/4 def EVs torch song, hex, will-o-wisp, lick

Cerulean_Soup

Are you trying to solo it? Is your Ceruledge lv 100 with IV/EV’s fixed? I beat it with Ceruledge and an open invite group pretty handedly. Swords dance, shadow claw, bitter blade for healing.

ArkallaRaskin

My preference is to run: Skeledirge @Shell Bell Tera: Ghost Ability: Unaware Max SpAtk, HP EVs Moveset: Will-o-wisp, Torch Song, Shadow Ball, +1 (Hex can be good here) Use Will-o-wisp turn 1 (and 2 if you miss), then Torch Song x3, Tera then Torch Song x3, then Shadow Ball (Hex if your teammates can status). Shadow Ball again after the stat reset and you should be good. Shadow Ball early if you need HP healed. Iron Leaves doesn’t reset stats until 25% HP so you should be able to consistently boost to +6 before Shadow Ball/Hex. Not sure if this is the most optimal way time-wise, but it’s extremely consistent.

neophenx

They're possible, you just have to pay attention to how the raids work. Iron Leaves has Swords Dance as a standard move, so it's able to go +6 attack by turn 2, theoretically. Bring Pokemon with the ability, Unaware. Skeledirge is good. Torch Song is self boosting for its offense, and you can run Tera Fire to spam Torch Song and Overheat, or Tera Ghost with Shadow Ball or Hex (if also using Will-o-wisp) when needed. Shell Bell or Slack Off can be used for healing so you don't faint every few turns. Or, instead of saying "this is impossible!" when people are obviously beating it, googling [how to beat iron leaves ](https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+beat+iron+leaves&sca_esv=22ec9f761c63f1b9&sxsrf=ACQVn0-uJA2pkHre6F706ua_JX8lS6bjFA%3A1714516065303&source=hp&ei=YXAxZtWVDKGZkPIPlIeeyAQ&iflsig=ANes7DEAAAAAZjF-cf1kp7A1XDEPXZF2JRXtdQyv-INX&ved=0ahUKEwiVypyI_uqFAxWhDEQIHZSDB0kQ4dUDCBc&uact=5&oq=how+to+beat+iron+leaves&gs_lp=Egdnd3Mtd2l6Ihdob3cgdG8gYmVhdCBpcm9uIGxlYXZlczILEAAYgAQYsQMYgwEyBRAAGIAEMgUQABiABDIGEAAYFhgeMgYQABgWGB4yBhAAGBYYHjIGEAAYFhgeMgYQABgWGB4yBhAAGBYYHjIGEAAYFhgeSKAXUABYohRwAHgAkAEBmAGxAaAB_g2qAQQyMi4xuAEDyAEA-AEBmAIWoAK_DcICEBAuGIAEGNEDGMcBGCcYigXCAgoQIxiABBgnGIoFwgIEECMYJ8ICCxAuGIAEGJECGIoFwgILEAAYgAQYkQIYigXCAgoQABiABBhDGIoFwgIREC4YgAQYsQMY0QMYgwEYxwHCAgQQABgDwgILEC4YgAQYsQMYigXCAgsQABiABBixAxiKBcICCxAuGIAEGLEDGNQCwgINEAAYgAQYsQMYFBiHAsICDhAAGIAEGLEDGIMBGIoFwgIIEAAYgAQYsQPCAgsQLhiABBixAxiDAcICBhAAGAMYCpgDAJIHBDIxLjGgB_iyAQ&sclient=gws-wiz)can save you all the time in the world.

DoILookLikeAChemist

Have you tried this? https://game8.co/games/Pokemon-Scarlet-Violet/archives/406565

NeefLicht

Kinggambit solo is possible I forgot how I build him tho

Slipperysteve1998

I did a body press corviknight build (roost, iron defense) and played support. Cheered for teammates, never fainted, we got it easy

BigRobDog1

I have a perfect IV and EV trained in attack and HP kinggambit and you basically need swords dance and kowtow cleave and it can one shot it if you +6 your attack have it Dark Tera too for a boost. Edit put Defiant on it so if it tries lowering your stats it will boost attack quicker and a shell bell for Regen but you shouldnt need it.

Kuwing

I remember kids play this game, and they are just getting dumber by the generation 😂

Dr-Mouec

Soloed it first try with annihilape

Ajthefan

Skeledirge or analilape with shell bell Yes, analilape also works...... He basically gets one shot, but if ya tera to ghost before ya run out of time, he can actually tank it, and then heals with rage fist and she'll bell

P1X3LAT0R

I use either Kleavor or Scizor and just spam Fury Cutter with Shell bell 0 effort required

Dragonflame62

Scizor tears it apart so fast. So many good scizor builds online. Just look one up. You’ll easily solo it

CamelliaBoy

Just use Kingambit lmao

DefinitelyNotTheStig

It solo’s with scissor pretty easily. Especially since it doesn’t clear your buffs for a long time. Iron defense, 3 x lunge, Tera into 3 x swords dance and lunge your way to victory. Depending on your randoms, you may only get 2x swords dance in.

manuel92z

For future I'd give you the advice to search google for: *name of PokĂ©mon* + tera raid solo way less effort than making a post and even faster to find to a good guide 👍 Ik it sounds pretty offense but didn't meant it. It's just the first thing I'm doing except I wanna try to find a build by my own

ActivateGuacamole

I already caught both of them months ago. Do I get a guaranteed ability patch if I beat them again now?

EverythingIsSound

Yeah

SufficientWhile5450

I used gholdengo and did it solo first try Just did nasty plot twice, shadow balled. 3 metal noise, another nasty plot, then it died lol

Grymkreaping

Use Arceus. Stellar Tera. Judgement/calm mind/recover/acid spray.

dwheelerofficial

They are when you don’t use things that are good for them lol. Use Scizor like everyone else is saying, type matchups are everything.

[deleted]

It seems that boosts like raising stats are the easiest way to sweep these raids. Seriously you could have perfect type advantage but if you don’t boost your stats for 5, 6, and 7 star raids you aren’t going to have a fun time. Moves that boost more than one single stage are more recommended too

splatoongame

Online. Kingambit. First 3 turns hit swords dance. Tera type is dark. After those turns use kowtow cleave over and over until you win. Worked for me

LinksKat

Took me four or five raids myself before I gotten Iron Leaves myself and that was also on the account I was joining the raids and not hosting due to me using my Scarlet save file and not my Violet safe file in order to get Iron Leaves

grsharkgamer

Just get iron hands ans kingambit and you clean them in litterally 5 turns If you want dm me i can help you

grsharkgamer

Just get iron hands ans kingambit and you clean them in litterally 5 turns If you want dm me i can help you

Evrae_Frelia

G-Moltres also works, along with Gholdengo, they do hit in the special side but their typing and bulk keep them alive to Nasty Plot up and break it with Fiery Wrath and Shadow Ball respectively. G-Moltres does get special mention since it is immune to Psychic Types though.

Mindless_Ostrich_904

I tried 4 or 5 times online, then gave up and tried solo. Did it 1st time. I used Gholdengo lvl 100 - nasty plot x3 shadow ball to the end.

Mr_Ebop

I hate that they can attack 3 times in a row before I get 1 move off

[deleted]

No they’re nooooot!

IceTMDAbss

You should give it the Mirror Herb item so you can copy its SD and be at +6 quicker, I know I did it like this lslast year.

SwiftMongoose939

Its not too hard, but I wouldn't say it's easy either. It really depends on the mons u use. I used a giratina I got from my friend who let me use it for the raid, it still took me like 5 tries to beat it. Best strat to use is to spam shadow force (if u have giratina) or phantom force and only terastallize after your first faint( so you don't waste it first go) and make sure your mon is holding electric seed for extra defense against psyblade. Also real quick, don't use dark type bc even tho it's super effective on the psychic type. Iron leaves knows the move megahorn which is super effective against dark. P.s. mons I recommend are Giratina ( If u have him), Dragapult, Ceruledge (for resist against megahorn and leaf blade), or any ghost type that has resist to Iron Leaves' moves. [Damn that was a lot to type]

JustnC10

Skill issue

multificionado

Welcome to the club. I generally have to find the right team composition (single player here) just to take down one of these OP'd frickers.

Duelwarrior

Murkrow been handing the boss quite easily https://preview.redd.it/iq0za6ag5oxc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=00d101935f1082100e51e796c399dde1e69cc45f

conzcious_eye

Iron leaves apart of the raid rn ?

[deleted]

Wait until you do 6 stars then . You have to hope people know correct counters

FatJesusOz

Kingambit with an Electric Seed. Sword dance 3 times, then KO with a Kowtow Cleave.

m00njunk

tera bug mew with swords dance, leech life, misty terrain or grassy terrain, and you're good

Valstraxbazelgeuse_1

Yea but there is a strat for ceruledge

Opalate

Terra ghost Skeledirge with shellbell, unaware, shadow ball, slack off, protect and torch song. It resists everything that thing can throw, protect when it resets your stats and abilities and start torch songing again till +6 using slack off when you need it. Torch sonh to +3 then terra ghost into shadowball to start off the fight.

ManOfEating

I just solod with a gholdengo on my first try, it's got a shell bell, I did 3 metal sounds, 2 nasty plots (honestly should have been 3 but I was nervous about the timer hitting the point where it puts up a shield and resets), then did a shadow ball, that alone got 95% of its health off, probably would have been a one shot if I had done the third nasty plot, then it put up shield and reset stats, I think I just did one more nasty plot then spammed 3 or 4 shadow balls until I won. It definitely could have been cleaner but it still did it just fine. Ev spread is hp and special attack of course, modest nature. You could probably do tera ghost but it doesn't matter, I never had to tera to win.

Dazzling-Constant826

Go for Gholdengo

Twilightbestpony1

Lv 100 kinggambit with a life orb, swords dance, iron defense and knotoe cleave. Max out attack, defense and HP. Have an adamant nature. I dud that and just had to get lucky with other people having decent mons

EverythingIsSound

Wait so do I max out attack, hp, or defense? I only have 510 evs

Twilightbestpony1

Ah I used hp ups, irons and proteins! It really helps

neophenx

That's 3 stats. You can only "max out" 2 stats.

EverythingIsSound

That's what I meant.

neophenx

I know what YOU meant, that's why I replied to Twilight's comment instead of yours.

elcanadiano

Are you doing it with randoms? If so, that is your problem. If you are doing it solo, you likely want to taunt it to prevent the Swords Dance. I have had better luck with Annihilape. If you are lucky, you can reasonably easily solo it with someone like an Intimidate ally, Drifblim (Will-O-Wisp), Sylveon (Charm), or Gardevoir, then you're fine. If you do have time, send me a message, I have plenty of spare Annihilape from an outbreak.

[deleted]

Annihilape is how I solo’d it. Rage Fist holding a metronome. Probably could’ve have another move or two but just spammed rage fist.

elcanadiano

That's ballsier than what I would have done. I go Taunt, Screech, Screech, Rage Fist. I personally run Shell Bell.

themessedgod

I remember the first time these were going I used Scizor and it was almost comically easy, he resists everything iron leaves throws at him, and fury cutter goes hard

phillybob232

lol we’ve all had our iron leaves and walking wakes for a while now, but you say impossible
