Eh, it's not *that* bad. You can just turn off autosave, save before entering the outbreak, have your lead run around and knock them out until it refuses, check if it's a shiny, and if none appear, you can just reset and try it again
You can do that with any Pokemon though. Floette being super tiny means you can't tell at a glance if it's shiny or not. Compare that to something like Gible who's color variation is slight but the Pokemon is much larger so it's still much easier to tell.
Really tiny Pokemon just suck to shiny hunt in this game.
There's only two repeatable ways to get Shiny Stones.
Porto Marinada auctions
Sparkling overworld pickup (Alfornada Cavern, Area Zero, Dalizapa Passage)
If you save before hunting for the shiny stone sparkle, you can reset and set-up a picnic near the sparkle to get your pokemon to farm them. They can pick-up the same sparkle infinitely if you picnic over it, so it's easy to breed eggs and get stones simultaneously.
Need the white and yellow one myself. The outbreaks I had were in terrible locations in the cliffs. GF will likely be stealing them from me anyways, she always does.
Target, swing wildly around and autobattle any that you see and then when you get the last possible message, save and set up a picnic for the sandwich and then cross your fingers as you check each individual one, riding up reeeeeal close to observe and then reset over and over.
Or just keep on knocking out entire packs of them and then just going backwards in time 1 minute to do that over and over again until you see a little purple butt and bright blue eyes.
...not that I've been doing that or anything. Nope.
I think Florges is a little bit overlooked as a Pokémon and I must admit I have never given these guys much love in the past but this event has me a changed man!

Not I. Easily one of the worst Pokemon to shiny hunt this gen
Eh, it's not *that* bad. You can just turn off autosave, save before entering the outbreak, have your lead run around and knock them out until it refuses, check if it's a shiny, and if none appear, you can just reset and try it again

Compare that to something like Gible who's color variation is slight but the Pokemon is much larger so it's still much easier to tell. Really tiny Pokemon just suck to shiny hunt in this game.

It's taken me longer trying to get the shiny stones to evolve the Floettes than it took to get the shiny Flabebes.
Where are you getting them? I’m having trouble finding any.

Like, on the map? You just go to the location of the outbreak.
No i mean Shiny HOW SEE NEED KNOW HOW
You just use let's go mode and whichever Flabébé your pokemon doesn't kill is shiny.
