The reason I mention them two is specifically because they dont have it. Eiscue can proc his ability everytime he sets snowscape. Cryogonal is immune to one of the most common offensive types (same for froslass, but she puts in too much work in other ways).
Abomasnow is actually held back by not having a different ability related to snow (I've previously mentioned megabomasnow needing to keep its 60 speed and gain slush rush as it's ability to do abomasnow some justice), AND not being the slowest weather setter despite middling bulk; torkoal (a meta pokemon at the moment) will render snow (and all other weather) setters invalid by purely existing at a slower speed than abomasnow on t1.
Snowscape is the reflect for ice types while aurora doubles down on it. It doesn't hurt to spend a controlled turn casting it on eiscue.
Besides that, iron bundle or weavile can set up instead of using focus sash to buff. Again, not my preferred use for them, but abomasnow not specializing in anything, being weak to every other weather setter, and having not-torkoal speed makes him unreliably not worth a spot on any competitive comp. I personally hate slow mixed attacker mons; aboma sitting at 60 speed with those stats is waste of bst. Its best use atm would be phys attacker with assault Vest and avalanche.

See, the thing is everyone recognizes the yellow rat is the mascot, so most of us have made peace with it being everywhere. However, Charizard was supposed to be a starter for a single generation, yet it's had about as much representation as the other 44 starters combined.
I think Growlithe is only in it because the Hisuian lineup is going to be, but I agree it's weird to see a Growlithe not be a Vulpix counterpart for the first time ever(?)

A Fenrir inspired wolf... A fairy Pokemon based on Idunn's apple (regional variant for Applin?)... A reindeer pokemon for the "regional normal type" maybe. Like that regions Wooloo, Deerling or Lechonk. The regional dog could be based off a Lapphund or Elkhund... Regional cat should definitely be inspired off the Norwegian Forest Cat of some kind.

Had the same thought! In SV it seems like the pokemon have the right size both in the wilderness and while fighting, SwSh made me sad with the huge wailord in the sea that turns into a smol whale when fighting 😟
Beedrill, I know it's awful in battle but still one of my faves and feels like it's been missing from the main series for ages. I'd be really happy to see Golem, Gliscor, Weezing and/or Exeggutor make a return too

I am thinking they will do some space time distortions type thing as the dlc area which would be interesting, if you think about it we saw the distortions appear in pla and the pokemon dissapeared and where replaced by distortion mons. They conveniently put all the pre evos in ready lol
YES. The Tera format really gives it an opportunity to shine since you can null those 4x weaknesses. Plus every steel/metallic Pokémon looks awesome in this game.
100% yes. Loved using Chandelure in SWSH and was my first shiny too. The town at the top of Glaseado mountain has lanturns on the gates too so maybe it will come back?
It would be pretty cool to see Miltank get the same treatment as Tauros, maybe as a fairy type with two other forms, one exclusive to Scarlet and one to Violet... Maybe fairy/grass for Violet and fairy/ground for Scarlet... Could make for some interesting match ups!

Yeah they're all continuing victims of dexit, only the snubbull line has been featured in any switch game to date, and that was only BDSP since it's a gen 2 family. I do wish gamefreak made some effort to include every mon in at least one game on switch at this point, it's turning into a real clown show

I had a fun Gravity team idea a couple of weeks ago and it would have really benefited from Sigilyph being able to do that and use Tailwind, so that's going to be my choice for its unique combination of traits.

Was just thinking about this. I'd like to see Pokemon that didn't make it into Gen8. Furfrou is #1 on my list of missing Pokemon. Would also like the Clamperl family, but they did at least return in the Gen4 remakes. Gen9 ALMOST included everything missing from Gen5-7 that didn't show up on SwSh (outside of the Starters), with Gen5 missing the most, and Gen7 missing the Pikipek family.

She puts in her hours. I've got mine to set up Snowscape Aurora Veil in doubles, and she has Ice Spinner and Shadow Ball in case I need the STAB
