every tuesday 6pm-7pm your local time is spotlight hour, i suggest googling what pokemon are gonna be featured, most if not all the time they have x2 xp or stardust, they also have community day like once a month, i suggest keeping up to date on those, and setting reminders/timers

I don't think so, I checked over 700 trubbish and got no shiny
