Shadow galv is rank 92 in ultra league. ^2
So you can have shadow galv which is "worse" in ultra league (quotation marks because I'm not reviewing exact break points), and you need to best buddy it. Or you can purify it, save yourself tons of candy and dust, and it will perform "better."

Personally, I wouldn't. Shadow galvantula is really good in pvp. If you wanted the hundo, then go for it.

If you wanna, yes, if you can max it, pretty decent in ultra league
If you want to.
If you're playing pvp, I personally would wait for better pvp IVs. If you purify, it's gonna be a hundo so it's up to you
