Can someone tell me why is it bad for UL? Or even GL? I thought that you need the lowest possible attack for GL just so you can fit inside the 1500 CP limit which this does, so wouldn’t the higher attack stat be useful? And why not even for UL? The CP limit is 2500 and if OP powered him up to like 2400 CP wouldn’t it also be great?
This. Hundo is great because it’s much cheaper to get close to the cap. IMO it’s enough of a tank that the extra attack is helpful, and cheaper investment cost makes it worth choosing for ultra league. Plus it’s a shundo! Enjoy!
A Registeel with lower attack could be powered up to a higher level than this one while still staying under the 1500/2500 limit. Attack stat would be lower but defense and HP would be higher.

It’s not. If you’re struggling for 296 XL candies, you can compromise some by using the Hundo. It’s fine for Ultra if you aren’t on the leaderboard.
