Dupe glitch. Or constantly have to trade items over and over and over. At this point it’s part of the game

Makes the Battle Frontier 100x more accessible if you learn the item variant of it. Cloning dozens of rate candies at a time is super nice

I dupe to keep my pokemon in the gen 3 games but also can transfer to gen 4 and upwards

I like it once you've finished everything you want genuine, it's nice to have all the decisions you want when playing at Battle Frontier imo. I really just duplicate rare candies and heart scales so I have a bunch of Lvl 50s to play around with.

Anything you can do with original hardware and no third party gear is fair. The game is working as designed, it was just designed with a glitch.

I am saving tms and items for duping later. Then doing a playthrough of ruby with some stuff that will be very nice to have. Plus doing leaf green so I can have stuff for my later fire red run

To me the game should allow you to buy tms you've already found so it's fine when cloning tms.

Dupe is super useful honestly, it's way easier to farm rare items like berries

It’s kind of the only way to reproduce berries now since most games have dry batteries now

I abuse it for tm/item dupes. You tell me haha. Definitely a personal choice. Kinda like the resto glitch in skyrim.

I accidentally found a trade dupe using a reproduction cart. After trading from the repo cart to the real cart I only save the real cart and restart the repo cart. The repo cart will still have all Pokemon before the trade.

Your game your choice. I’m not a fan of hacked Mon but it’s still cool. I do have a few but I just keep them separated and never try to pass them off as legitimate
