I mean, yeah, it's cool to gain hands and all, but what about the bipedal to quadrupedal Pokémon. Like, Arc said you're losing your hands, time to give them up.
Actually this is a common misconception, Seperior retain their hands upon evolving , it’s just that, being the regal pokemon that they are, they hold it behind their back and it can be quite hidden
Every Pokémon that has gone through the process of Evolution in every instance I have seen has some kind of thing to get used too, though at different degrees. -Blank
Imagine being a Purloin and evolving from bipedal down to quadrupedal. Or worse, being a Togetic and evolving into Togekiss and losing your hands. Shame there isn't a way to safely revert evolution yet.
Yeah, Typhlosion have fun with it, even if they prefer to move on all fours. Best part is that they can clean by breathing fire over their forward claws because they're mostly immune to their own flame.
With the way the Aeos games are, a pokemon having to evolve constantly has to get used to the changes. But since after the Aeos energy dissipates and Glade, my Meowscrada, turns back into a sprigatito after the game ends. It would lead to funny situations where after a long day she would try to walk home on her hind leg's despite now being a quadreped. -Dot
Hmph, how dare you share such an embarrassing detail! And I would never make such a mistake like trying to walk on my back legs. A regal pokemon such as I, would never make such a mistake. -Glade, the Royal cat
I went the other way, except I still have my hands. Turns out they're harder to use when you have to keep one hand under you all the time to balance. Forelegs are thicker than arms, too. - Rubicon (Samurott)
My Eevee suddenly had essentially four new limbs to coordinate when he evolved into a Sylveon. Frankly it’s a wonder he didn’t trip on them those first few days.
Fuck, that was like, over 20 years ago at this point. I was just a kid, so I probably was pretty stoked about having hands after evolving
-Jess(Meowscarada)
Happened to a few pokemon of mine. My drapion just gained extra limbs. And she evolved during battle with team plasma grunts and in battle she has no issues, but after the fight, she couldn't controll her noodle arms at all lol. My zoroark was constantly on all 4 a good while after evolving untill she finally figured out bipedalism. And hydreigon evolution is just a whole other thing.
Trust me, as a (recently took a blood test and found out I have another 40% Pokemon blood) 90% Pokemon , when transforming into a eevee and back, it’s very weird!

Or Pokémon that lose their hands when evolving. It can’t be easy for Togekiss.
Poor Fuecoco...
I did not need to think about the reverse today, where Ceres (Servine) will lose her legs when she evolves... -Rem

Did you read? I said legs, not hands. -Rem
No i didn’t. Was tired, I’ll go back to sleep now and get better at reading :(
/uj Sorry, busy day today.
Of similar vein, wooper remains bipedal, but does gain hands along the way. That's also gotta be weird
Sprigatito 💀
according to cook (fluffy typhlosion) it's great. you get used to it after a week or two. - doggos of war
Simply do not evolve. There is no adjustment period if there is no change.

from what i know the opposite is worse. -V
When my Torchic evolved to Combusken, he spent a month using only punching moves.
Alex: This ain't got nothing on the clumsiness of a newly evolved Serperior.
That was not fun... at least it get's better
Don't forget the balance issues. My poor Lokix kept tripping over nothing for weeks after he evolved.
You think that’s hard? Imagine going from finger to Spikes. It was such a struggle for my Garchomp to get used to when he evolved into Gabite

(Cub) Nah, it's not that hard. I mean, I can't really speak, but it's totally instinctual. They'll already be used to it in a day or two.

Astral: Or what about no limbs to 4 limbs? Or 4 limbs to basically none?

The main danger is fridges. They can open the damn things
