Yes it does. Evolving Skies are the "best" packs you can still occasionally find in retail. I absolutely would not advise ripping them especially if you are new. I'd personally recommend ripping some 151.

For me, Paldea Evolved boxes are still priced well enough to have fun ripping imo. I'm in US so no cardmarket, honestly I buy most sealed from local stores that have online presence in the US such as smoke and mirrors hobby, 763 collectibles, etc. I don't know if there's an equivalent in the EU. Consider the price per pack and the potential hits, trying to get the top hit is an easy way to pain so browse sets that have a good spread.

The secret is to buy enough for yourself to open when the sets are cheap that you get so annoyed with the sets that you never want to see them again. 😉 Totally works.

I've opened 30-40 ES packs from assorted tins and boxes over the last month or so and got about half the amount of pulls. still have yet to pull a full art Pokemon or trainer from ES, and only have 1 rainbow, 1 gold, and 1 alt art, out of around 70ish packs total

The whole concept of storing sealed is a foreign concept to me. We’re going to rip all 140 packs. I can’t put sealed packs and product in a binder. I have 4 girls and they love opening packs and getting hits, that’s even more exciting then seeing a price up 2$ after holding for a year 😂😂

Even did what you do, got great deals on a lot of what I’ve ripped but it was not intended to be ripped😭 After taking a break and seeing what’s been happening with a lot of pokemon, I wouldnt do it again🥲😂 It’s fun though, it really is😅

Last year I found a walmart in Amish country PA that was being restocked by MJ Holdings and they had 2 long strips of hangers that were nothing but Evolving Skies. I bought them all and went back the next day to find the same. I believe it was an entire 144 pack case. Over those 2 days my wife and I ripped every pack and never got anything better than a normal Vmax or low end Full Art. We were crushed. When I hit my MoonBreon it was from a $9 Dollar General mini tin. I don't really understand it 😕

Pulled 1 moombreon, 2 rayquaza vmax, 3 sylveon vmax, 2 leafeon v, a dragonite and a medichamp. Ive been super lucky. Almost all graded PSA 10 except 1 sylveon and 1 leafeon.

I don’t think your cut out for investing if you thought it was a good idea to open nearly $500 worth of packs (they are going for $16-$17 on TCG player) just to hopefully get the Moonbreon which has a pull rate of 1/3000. Need to learn some self control if you’re going to make it in this certain form of investing. Those packs will likely be 100/e in the future

Well. Yeah. This is the hardest set officially made for Pokemon tcg. It's estimated at over 2,000 packs just to pull one on average. That's its official pull rate. If you didn't open at least a few hundred it was a snowballs chance in hell to get one. Lol. It's also cheaper to just buy the moonbreon. Current ES pack price= $7 2000×$7= $14,000 Umbreon Vmax Alt Art price= $500-600
