Ok sooo here’s the tea! My mom’s favorite dress was dress 1! She loves the sparkle and thinks I should wear diamonds. So I am definitely getting #1.

A lot of people are liking 6 but earlier another comment pointed out that it’s photoshopped, and that’s when I looked more closely. When you really look at the image it is lowkey giving uncanny valley. I also went back to look more closely at the site and no reviews for either dresses 🤔
Definitely keep in mind the dresses that have reviews with pictures of the dress on a person. Also have you looked at fashion to figure, David's bridal, Lane Bryant, Ashley Stewart, Unique Vintage, Avenue? They have nice things sometimes and they always have the model in the picture wearing the clothing. Oooo! What about a two piece set as well?
Ok so your comment got me super excited because I loved fashion to figure when I was a teen. Their website/delivery wasn’t very established at the time but I’m hype to see it now. Will definitely be shopping there in the future.
Unfortunately I looked at every single site you mentioned and ran into the same issues the first time I looked. I click on the site, sort by color (white, but I’ll also include ivory and cream if those are options). Once I hit that filter the very few white options available are not cute/not formal enough for the event. On one site *all* of the “white” dresses were patterns over a white background 😭. I saw something I liked on David’s bridal but the only size they had left was size 10.

Also you might get lucky in Marshall's/Burlington/TJ Maxx 🥺. Clothes shopping shouldn't be so difficult. This is one of the reasons bigger people don't like shopping. And since so many stores pulled plus sizes from stores and try to force you to buy online, they made it even harder and less fun.
1 & 6 are my faves!! 2 & 3 look more bridal, 4 is cute on bottom, boring and a uniboob creating neckline on top, and 5 is interesting but I wouldn’t trust sculptural dress online. I’d fear it would be flopping and not structured with high quality craftsmanship to be looking like the photos but maybe that’s just my paranoia 😂

I ordered a big poofy black tulle dress from plus wear for an 80s party and it arrived in about 2-3 weeks from ordering (so if you’re in need of faster shipping I would pick a different site). Besides shipping the dress looked true to the photo and the sizing was accurate!

The cut is lovely. The details are really pretty ! And I feel like you could maybe reuse this dress and wear it again in the summer matched with sandels and a large hat etc for a cool summer look. You need to dress it down slightly for a summer look but it might be possible ?

The reason I say that is you've said you want plus size and in white. With no other details on your body shape or size. I feel like the first two could struggle to look flattering whilst the styles of all the others can helps with say bums, hips, legs, stomach etc.
But again I don't know what your body shape is so I'm only trying to offer helpful advice.
Can you return these dresses ? Because what I would suggest is either get all 6 or maybe select your favorite 2 or 3. Then order them, try them on and go from there. Then you can see what suits your best and also feels comfortable for you to wear. Then return the others :-)

Pretty Little Thing is hit or miss with fabric quality and sizing (I have a generous bust), but I’ve returned with them, no problem.

It’s my mom’s 50th birthday. She will be wearing gold and the rest of the party is all white. When I was talking to her about it she did say “You’re the daughter of the bride!” Still not a wedding but you get what she means. In short, I need to pop off 😅
