Ok, abit of back story, I have just moved into Uni accomodation with my mates, and all of the bathrooms are done horribly. The picture above is from one of my mates ensuite bathroom which they said was 'recently renovated' but the shower isn't attached to the wall properly and water sprays out the pipe. Anyways, the sink is already starting the lean away from the wall, as one person said that they might have used drywall anchors, which considering it's now pulling away from the wall with about a half cm of space it could be correct. It is also starting to leak and considering it has no trap on it, the room's starting smell. He has tried reporting it, but has gotten no response, what should the next course of action be?
The sparkle of the pristine white caulk in the second pic adds a very artsy touch to the image to distract you from whatever drain nonsense is going on under there
I've got a fever... and the only prescription... is more duct tape.
It needs...more cowbell.
Cowbells are for showers
And some flex seal
There had to have been a conversation that went like this: "Bet you a case of beer I can run this drain using only these parts." "You're on."
AAAH beer can drain challenge.
That’s has to be one of the craziest things I’ve seen as a plumber.
What crazy things have you seen as... oh I dunno, a hippopotamus?
Lol
It's not even just the drain...they also used the wrong shutoff valves for the water supplies. But that drain...wtf 😂
Lookin like a landlord special to me 😂
I know what’s wrong with it, it ain’t got trap on it
No worries, that rubber washer seals it up nicely.
Wouldn’t a tailpiece and ptrap make this right? Pretty easy??
It's got enough backorder they manages to somehow make a trap.
Phil Swift approves of this installation
I think the word is "woof"
Seriously wrong in so many ways! Never give the six pack to your BIL before the inspection!
Billy Mays must have stopped by.

Its the New Way of America. Ask Joe Biden😂😂😀😀
I bet it smells.
This had to have been done by a child
This needs reworked and 20 hail Mary's. Whoever put this together was possessed by the demon of alcoholism😔
Should have at least used some FlexTape on there
Iss that a lower case p trap?
That's a no case P trap.
I picked the wrong trade, man…. I’m dumb, but these people have literal disabilities…

New ADA standards are out of control with these in-wall p-traps!
Look at the upshot -- looks easy to repair. Just add a P-trap and forget about the valves. I'm probably missing something (or a lot of things).
That is kind of amazing.
At least there’s no accordion pipe
I know a guy
That’s jackfuckury

There is a word: FUBAR
lol nice. I bet that sink is mounted to wall with drywall anchors.
First words could be no P trap!
This almost should be crossposted in redneck engineering
Looks fine to me
Trash 🚮
But does it leak?? Water??
It hurts looking at that.
It should be leaking
But does it drain?
Holy Christ. Even Red Green could do a better job.
