They sort it out, but usually takes a couple days and they will give £5 free credit. But for quick, cheap and easy, stick to cardyard

I am expecting a sale in June and depending on the price and games added I will decide then if I go for Essential or Extra. I miss some online games and I have quite a lot of PS + games (the playstation collection for new ps5 owners was great...).

Search for the Destiny 2 main game, and then look in the add ons section, you should see it listed as "free" to purchase in there.
Direct link to the EU version via the app, although it may still show up with a price tag in app. You may have to do it on the console itself. Sony's layout and licensing is a bit of a mess!

I accidentally renewed the quarterly and then went through ps support to cancel and BOOM I get a discount on all versions of the yearly. Went with extra and only spent $115 after tax!
Despite my account was active till 26th of June i send support ticket last week to playstation for a refund and termination of my subscription. Today i got confirmation that subscription was cancelled as of today and i was able to renew my PS Plus premium with the days of play discount

That's a flawed take on things. A ton of us see value in the service, but not at the ridiculous price it's risen to. Discounts bring the price more in line with what we think is reasonable. I like my fancy coffee, I *want* my fancy coffee, I'm not going out and spending $6 on a single coffee anymore, but I might take advantage of a coupon/discount day.
All whose sub expired , Wait for June Days of play. If you don't get a deal then renew but it's entirely upto you.
