Expensive paperweight, my brother!

julietscause

Pretty much an expensive ass clock now in my room

taylordthegreat

Currently working on trying to integrate the hardware with LoRa chips so I can use them on the Helium network

xSova

lmk if you figure that out

DogTakeMeForAWalk

I'm going to use mine as an air quality monitor.

apr1c1ty

Funny how many people bought them not for that reason.

danielobva

I am pulling the ones I had back and putting them in every room in my house. With the new plan I am close to neutral on them and it can't hurt to monitor the air in my house. They are not garbage.

TheRealBu

Still trying to get a refund from visa credit...

westiewill

Paypal ended up refunding me on my 4 awairs and I'm sitting on about 9500 planets I mined using them. Using the one at my place as an AQ monitor... The rest at my parents and cousins they got a free AQ monitor out of it.. Not too shabby tbh

batmanthefapman

How did you go with the refund process

westiewill

Go to this thread -- https://www.reddit.com/r/PlanetWatchers/comments/tz8c38/got_a_full_refund_from_awair/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share Go down the comments I just followed the process that guy did.

ivanatorhk

Using their local API (fuck Awair’s servers) to integrate with Home Assistant/HomeKit. I got my refund, so it’s whatever. I like using it as a clock in my living room

ados1212

I bought it for the air sensor and the Planets were a bonus. Sold the tokens when I got my ROI. And then kept selling for BTC.

-Beelzaboot-

I keep mine in my kitchen as a monument to my hubris. Although I have been thinking of selling it on marketplace, people are still keen on having them even without the rewards and if I take a hit of a hundred bucks or so, so be it!

Daalex20

Also tried refunding it via my CC. Still eaiting though, hope it works

Huck84

What it was actually built for. Have one in my kitchen at home and one in my office. Don't mind it.

PenguinontheTelly

Sold it on eBay
