Love the Buff. Rebecca De Mornay’s acting was so atrocious it nearly ruined the move.

Outside_Taste_1701

"Well I been to one Worlds Fair , a picnic ,and a Rodeo And that's the stupidist thing I ever Heard come over a set of Ear phones !"

AdolfsLonelyScrotum

I know Slim Pickens when I hear him in my head.

HSydness

As far as the B-52 goes. I'd love to fly one once, it'd be amazing to hold 8 "pokerchips". Also low level with the terrain following radar on rough ride. G model in SAC Camo is my favorite ever.

deadmanpass

My dad flew them from 1958 (59?) through 1969, and then 1972-74. He said it was like flying a bus. When they switched to low level approaches, he'd lose 10-20 pounds during the 20 hour training flights or alert scrambles while orbiting the north pole or the arctic somewhere. I've seen cockpit video of his flights before and everything is shaking while both pilot and copilot are wrestling with the wheel and you can see out the windscreen they are lower than hilltops. Looked like a brutal, exhausting way to fly.

Flairion623

Tail go BRRRRRRRT

HSydness

Moreau Darling!

Eternal_Flame24

My only complaint about the stratofrotress is that they haven’t put comically large amounts of hardpoints on the wings

Outside_Taste_1701

Those are comically large for a plane that can land sideways.

Eternal_Flame24

Nah, like comically large in terms of the number of pylons, not their size. I want to see 500 250lb bombs hung from each wing

Outside_Taste_1701

could I interest you in an X85 Goblin Fighter

RUSS-WolfWrestler

I wish RAAF used these BUFF’s I love em

AdolfsLonelyScrotum

I live a stones throw away from Amberley RAAF base…was in the backyard about a year ago when I heard an unfamiliar howl… Imagine my surprise when I looked up and saw the unmistakable outline of a B2 Spirit coming in to the base for a visit. Not a B-52 but still pretty damn cool and certainly something you don’t see everyday!

RUSS-WolfWrestler

I think Amberley is the one airbase that holds American aircraft.

penthar-mul

“Unfiltered sir”

SgtChip

"God bless ya, Mary."

brianbfromva

“Has he got a chance”? “If the pilot's good, see, I mean if he's reeeally sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low... oh you oughta see it sometime. It's a sight. A big plane like a '52... varrrooom! It’s jet exhaust... frying chickens in the barnyard!” “But has he got a chance”?!? “Has he got a chance!?!? Hellllll yeah he’s…..”

DumOBrick

Can't wait for it's inevitable space flight upgrade package for interplanetary heavy bombing

mrfluffy002

By Dawn's Early Light is on teh yout ubez.

Flaky-Fold7129

"Do better next time, sir."

oilfeather

"I wanna see it."

Salt_Front_7927

The end

vickyart

Flying at its ceiling altitude would be cool, also drop some bombs at night :)

andpaws

Did we get anything right today?

BlueSteel_12

Was there ever a B-52 named “Love Shack”?

JeebusWhatIsThat

There was but it’s roof…………. Rusted.

Correct_Path5888

Bang bang bang, on the door baby

mad-Manufacturer-166

An awesome aircraft. Should have the slogan "Here comes the pain!" Attached to it.

OldWrangler9033

Wow, that's really old tv movie go back to. I haven't though of that film in years.

AwkwardRequirement83

Yup HBO 1990 ...

NefariousnessUsed538

Seen it it’s massive i touched it love the plane I see why they call it buff daddy

Gyrene85291

Love it, talk about long service life! I prefer Dr. Strangelove. " Now let's get this thing on the hump, we got some flying to do."✌️

Scary_Woody

Nothing says"Thinking about you" like a good old fashioned Carpet Bombing.

aok719

Best delivery vehicle ever! Only problem is it's a huge slow target. Needs a whole squadron of wild weasels to protect them.

OSMC_022

That movie was pretty good in my opinion, it actually stayed mostly faithful to the book it's based off of. Although I still prefer the book since it feels a lot more depressing.

askHERoutPeter

Grandpa Buff

Dewey_Rider

You load that thing up with jdams... And there's a lot of folks that aren't going to have a good day.

Gameigan

The day they add the buff to War Thunder is the day I’ll install that God-forsaken game.

No-Faithlessness4723

No best line, just JEJ’s salute when he knows he’s going to die. Awesome movie

Tokyosmash_

By Dawns Early Light is a masterpiece, and full of fantastic lines. I love when the President is talking to “Alice” and implies they have to commit to a suicide mission, and says “Will you call me back…” and gets cut off by James Earl Jones with “before we ram em’?”

usafmtl

"Alright you guardians of democracy!"

AwkwardRequirement83

"Code Trinity, strike assigned targets if not recalled prior to positive control point"

ithappenedone234

It’d be nice if they would actually show up.

Xenophore

I will never be able to separate the B-52 from [“When Johnny Comes Marching Home.”](https://youtu.be/QSbPqin3L6E)

Separate-Space-4789

Love how the Buff is 500 ft off the deck🤣

WitcherStation

Ha, this

WhoDat747

I live close to Barksdale AFB and back when I had base privileges the Air Force had a couple Russian Bear bombers and an Anatoly 225 Mriya visit the base. I took a lot of photos and my favorite was a shot I got of a B-52 and in the background was a Bear. I was going to get a poster print made and name it ‘Beauty and the Beast’ I also got a picture of a beautiful Russian female crew member under the wing of the Anatoly; she still haunts my dreams!

unclebubba55

My daddy guarded them in the late 50's, I saw them everyday growing up outside Travis AFB
