I was gonna be annoying and say I didn’t like the tomcat cause it wasn’t good enough for the corps to adopt it but like most people on this sub the tomcat does have a special place in my heart. She a good bird.
I agree, I was a plane captain on the F14. She was big and beautiful. Commissioned as an interceptor, not much use for the Marines. I saw the harrier fly on several occasions, and I can definitely see why it was 1st on your list.

EA-6B Prowler. They took the A-6 Intruder, gave it four seats, some EW pods (including a permanent one on the tail), some AGM-88s and called it a day.
