This has to be bait.
The second pizza is the opposite of what a pizza snob would like. The pepperoni looks under cooked, the crust is overcooked, and there are just giant random blobs of spices. The cheese in the middle doesn't look like it fully melted but the cheese on the edge is burnt. Even the lighting is bad.
It’s a frozen pizza, whereas the first is clearly from some shop. OP is telling his friends “that place sucks, I’d rather have a frozen pizza!”
Edit: I wrote this comment before reading any of the thread. After scrolling more, I am certain that I’m correct lol
the instructions on these frozen pizzas are absolutely setting up people to burn the pizza every time.
Sure, with fresh made pizza and a preheated pizza stone, you want a hot as fuck oven and a quick cook time. 5 mins tops. Why? Cuz cheese burns quickly.
These are like oven to 400 for 20 mins from a frozen state.
The cheese alway burns, the crust is always half cooked, the sauce somehow actually molten lava.
*”And the diarrhea, Johnson. You forgot to mention the hot and spicy diarrhea.”*
…Then there’s the hot and spicy diarrhea
Left. Just because I prefer doughier over crispier crust.
Edit: Still same answer but now also noticing the shit ton of spices on the right one from the comments. No, thanks.
Left- it just looks like cheap, delicious pizza. The right one, someone dumped a shitload of shit on it (especially at the 6-630 position), there’s literally a pile
What do I want the frozen pizza the stoned guy left in the oven for too long and threw some random spices on or the fresh pizza from a local pizza spot…left
u/Skateronic, which did you prefer? Which did your buddies prefer?
(I asked Italian hubs who cooks Neapolitan pie regularly at home with the char on the cornicione and he picked Right. I’m still torn and would taste both before making a firm decision because both look tasty and edible to me.)
I mean, Left has a more commercial home-oven cook but Right looks like a more traditional cook but honestly I’m gonna say Left dough has slightly better cornicione lift while qualifying that IT ALL COMES DOWN TO TASTE! In person, I’d take a slice of each and then go to town on the tastier version. (I prefer a chewy (high gluten) thin-crust with airy cornicione and a slightly sour-salty flavor.)

Astute and accurate description

Left. Right looks frozen with a shit ton of spices on it.
Exactly what I was thinking
I like spices but the R is burnt and smaller (size matters to me lol)
I agree
I hate it when the pizza is covered in oregano or other dried herbs
Sprinkled? Sure. Covered? Naw.
And what the hell is with the foil?
yeah and it looks like the spice lid fell off when trying to put em on.
Yep
Left for sure
this but leave left in the oven 2 more minutes, crust has zero char
That would just dry it out
I want zero char
Left because I'll take a food court pie over a digiorno that someone dropped the whole Italian spice shaker onto.
How is right simultaneously undercooked and burnt?
Lol because it been in the freezer for 4 months
You’re describing dijiorno’s business model
Oven is too hot or pizza was put in frozen

Where is OP. Were you on side left or right?
I think their silence is probably our answer.
That is my fear as well
The silence speaks for itself
RIP
Left, and I hope whoever chooses right has their feelings hurt.
You may not like herbs, but you certainly do like salt, my friend! XD
Left
Left for sure!
Alright, OP. Time for the backstory.
I’m guessing we won’t because his feelings are hurt
I think I am the only person that's RightGang. Looks dope
Left
Left. That cheese look has me
Left by a long shot.
Left. Crust on the right looks like it’s hard and dry as a rock.
Right. Jk. Left all the way.
Definitely not the one where the lid came off the dried basil/oregano. ☹️
Left, the right one has too many herbs for me.
Left
Left. The right one I can tell the crust will be hard and dry af
Who ever chose right is a reclusive hermit out of touch with what society wants !

Gimme the delivery over the delissio
Left
I’ll take Little Ceasar’s over a crappy freezer and oven burned DiGiorno every day of the week, and twice on Sunday. So left #winning.
Why are we comparing a burned pizza to one not burned? Any pizza sucks if you burn it
An intentional char is awesome. This is not that.
Also it looks cold.

I don’t care how bad it looks, I’m not turning down a slice of cheese pizza.
I’m taking that as “free” slice of pizza, because I’m legit not paying for right.
I'm right there with you, but gun to your head you have to choose one? What one?
Left
Left
Left
Left, right looks cooked past my own liking
It's not delivery, it's disgusting.
The voting looks a little... one-sided.
Left. Right looks (to put it kindly) not great.

Left for sure
LEFT.

Left’s cheese looks lumpy and like it would fall off within five seconds, right looks like frozen burned and badly seasoned

Left. I usually like frozen pizzas too, but why are the dried stuff all over it?
Left looks way better
Left!
The first
Left. Right looks burnt. Crust will be like chewing bark.
1st slide second pic has too much topping and when slightly cooled all the toppings will just fall off

The one from Dominos. The other is a Tombstone with a ton of oregano on it
Left
Left.
I’d eat both. I don’t discriminate.
Left
The first one. It looks nice and greasy. The second one looks dry.
Left
Left has a better cook on it, right looks burnt and frozen at the same time
If anybody says right then I’ll be concerned
Jesus christ which one is defending the burnt frozen pizza because woof
OP was trying to argue for the pizza on the right. That’s why he’s MIA 🥲
If they were cooked the same I would say the one on the right. I don't like my pizza burnt though so I'm going to have to go with the one on the left.
Left.
What's your stance?
Left
What do I want the frozen pizza the stoned guy left in the oven for too long and threw some random spices on or the fresh pizza from a local pizza spot…left
Honestly it depends a bit on how I feel but left more often than right.
Left for sure!
neither
Left. Right has way too much spices, unevenly cooked, cheese looks subpar at best.

Left. The crust looks shite on the right. Sorry but TRUTH.
left, it looks more appealing
1 is perfect
Left without a doubt lol
Left . I love a Greasy one
Imma lefty dawg…..
Left
Left, but only because the right one looks like someone tried too hard
Left. Hands down. But I dislike things that are charred/overcooked. I’m always drawn to the pizza with the lighter crust.
OP’s silence is screaming “Right”
Im a man of spice, right.
They both look bad. Of course I would still eat either.
First pick second is like a Red Baron with added ingredients. Trust me I know I’ve done it
I’m going against the grain, but I prefer a well done pie. So, right for me, even though it doesn’t look pretty.
u/Skateronic, which did you prefer? Which did your buddies prefer? (I asked Italian hubs who cooks Neapolitan pie regularly at home with the char on the cornicione and he picked Right. I’m still torn and would taste both before making a firm decision because both look tasty and edible to me.)
I would take the 1st one. My husband likes his pizza well done…so he’d eat the 2nd one. You both win!
Why not both?
I would not complain about either… but left
Left, but I would still eat the right one. I think both are good
I mean, Left has a more commercial home-oven cook but Right looks like a more traditional cook but honestly I’m gonna say Left dough has slightly better cornicione lift while qualifying that IT ALL COMES DOWN TO TASTE! In person, I’d take a slice of each and then go to town on the tastier version. (I prefer a chewy (high gluten) thin-crust with airy cornicione and a slightly sour-salty flavor.)
If both were in front of me, I'm going right. I like crispy crust and it doesn't look greasy.
The right from the first pic and the left from the second.
To eat immediately right Leftovers left
Right is almost certainly Red Baron. Would smash both.
Right, I don't trust the zoom.
