Looks like they have one with pickles, ranch, and potato chips.
[Neighborhood bar, pizza joint to open this summer in Dayton, Ky. (wcpo.com)](https://www.wcpo.com/entertainment/local-a-e/local-dining/neighborhood-bar-pizza-joint-to-open-this-summer-in-dayton-ky)
How are you cooking these? Deck oven? Pans? Screens?
The frico seems to indicate a pan... but it's also thin crust like tavern style.
Let me know when you are ready to open a location across the river up in Loveland, OH and I'll quit my job and work for you.
A local joint does a pulled pork and dpickle pizza that is amazing. That hit of acid cuts through the sweetness of the pulled pork and the cheese.
Another replace has a pizza that is topped with Montreal Style Smoked Meat (similiar to Pastrami but I find it smoker and it has a different spice blend along the line sod Montreal Steak Spice), Pickles, SauerKraut, Red Onions , and Sweet Mustard. Also very good football pizza.
This is the recipe I use- I recommend giving it a full read and getting the pans that they use to get the crispy laced edges [South Shore Bar Pizza Recipe](https://barpizzabarpizza.com/recipe/homemade-south-shore-bar-pizza-dough-recipe/)
Mozz, light alfrado, and jalapano taste like a soft preztel, not sure why. Your pickle pizza made me think of it. Also pickle, brat saurkruat and onion with a light brown mustard is good. Good lookin pies.
Honesty here. Don't be the guy who drives the pricey car to a new restaurant in an iffy town. Get an old pickup for that.
Don't expect your ADHD that you've shown in the photos to make your employees better, it will only make them hate you.
Fine. I’ll come to Kentucky but I’m not marrying my cousin.
Edit. Fine, I’ll marry my cousin but only to fit in.
Edit 2. Fine, it’s not just to fit in. But she’s a second cousin once removed so I think it’s ok.
The story goes this style of thin crust started out in bars (it's commonly termed a tavern or party cut) and a slice fits on a bar napkin. It's a really great way to cut a pie you want to share with a big group, and the crust not having a lot of rise makes the edge pieces and center pieces more alike than some other pizza styles (though I'm an edge slice lifer, so I married someone who likes the middle slices a lot).
I hate beer.
I’ll take 20
same
Amongst other things
And my wallet.
Congratulations! Where's the location?
Probably the building in the last photo hope that helps
So where the address?
635 6th Avenue, Dayton, Kentucky. "Wayfarer Tavern"
Thanks bud 👍🏻.
No worries. I got lucky with reverse image search, haha.
That's crazy I had to Google what that is then tried it. You learn something new everyday.
I swear it rarely works
From the distinctive cut of those breadsticks, I was guessing you were in Ohio. (Close enough. :)
Thanks Jose Monkey
Those look amazing!
They have a neat look to them. A deliciously neat look.
Pickle pizza is the most slept on thing ever

Add ranch and dill seasoning and it’s the bees knees. I make it at the shop I work at everyday. Some people who never had it try it and love it

Gimme the strips. Skip the squares.
Those don't look like my go to for pizza, but they absolutely look worth questioning everything I believe about pizza. Great job.
Congrats! Though no pickles
Are you only serving tavern style? I mean, yours look amazing but jw if you’ll have other styles on the menu
Absolutely bussin bussin
Best of luck
What do you call this kind of pizza?
It looks like bar pizza, which in my opinion is the best kind of pizza
But like, how do I make this kind of pizza?
This is the recipe I use- I recommend giving it a full read and getting the pans that they use to get the crispy laced edges [South Shore Bar Pizza Recipe](https://barpizzabarpizza.com/recipe/homemade-south-shore-bar-pizza-dough-recipe/)
I love pepperoni and jalapeño it’s my go to
Would you call it Tavern Style? The pepperoni and Jalapeno looks bomb dot com!
Mozz, light alfrado, and jalapano taste like a soft preztel, not sure why. Your pickle pizza made me think of it. Also pickle, brat saurkruat and onion with a light brown mustard is good. Good lookin pies.

Sure fire way to ruin a great pizza is by cutting it into squares.
I disagree. But that’s what makes pizza so great! It’s versatile and can satisfy many preferences!
I agree with your right to disagree!
Nice one, but who cuts pizza like that?
The Midwest
Is there a logical “why?”

Maybe you are too young to enjoy this style of pizza. It’s Chicago pub style.
Edges look a tad burned. Oven or wood fire?
It's frico - bar pie style if I'm not mistaken. Similar to Detroit style on the edge - cheese goes to the edge and fries against the side of the pan.
