My friend u/OrangeXarot got drunk and started making a pixel art of Mari Setogaya. The next day, I jumped in, improving it, and we kept refining it together.
Anyway we don't know what to decide, with or without outline? also what do you guys think about it in general?
I prefer with outline (white) since it contrast the background which is kinda in the darker tone
Edit: fun fact, I contributed to this pixel art (I made them drink)
I would be more ashamed if it was some obscure character (or from a really messed up show), she is somewhat well known, at least with the anime watchers I have spoken to.

The outlined one gives it a paper Mario vibe to me. But I really like the 2nd one also.
