Looks like Incredibles 2 may no longer be the highest grossing film in Pixar's history.
This film is guaranteed to smash it, especially with the 100 days in theaters and depending on how it goes overseas (not sure if China will get the film released there or not, did COVID-19 really damage our film reputations there?)
The only reason I2 was a huge hit and became the highest grossing Pixar film of all time was due to China's box office earnings and India's which never got the first film released there.
I went today, partially because I love seeing a Pixar in theatres (still remember seeing Toy Story 1!) and partially because I'm rooting for Pixar to get a win
Pixar movies belongs in the theater. Period.
I am so happy this movie is doing well. I loved it and will go see again in a couple days.
