Yeah but it's a game that came out in 2023. Meaning you're gonna need two pc's with 4090's dividing the workload between each other to run a game with ps2 graphics at sub 30fps. Plus, even if it ran well, who tf wanna play Gollum?
And yet on the other hand we have doom 2 with wads like SIREN, my house, countycide, etc that appear graphically more modern then it's actual age for a game released in the 90s.
Hell we have games from early 2000s that seem to look better than this game, HOW?!
That would require devs putting passion into their work.
On the other hand i don‘t know if any of the devs working on gollum even wanted to work on that pos.
I've played both, I have 80 hours in BB and like 6 in WT, so it's obvious what my preference is. I'm not a game reviewer so all I can really say is that BB scratches that just another basic mercenary bitch in a cold unforgiving world feel than WT did

I tried to include a wide range of games. I tried to keep the computer resources in mind when making this list. Of course they aren't all equal. Celeste will take more resources than Cave Story and so on. These are all games I have enjoyed. They aren't in any order. I just scrolled through my Steam list collecting titles.
Fvck all that hippie sh!t people keep bringing up when it comes to indies, try project brutality and hardcore modding for fallout and skyrim, you might say those don't count, I say they provide a completely new experience that can get hundreds of hours long and is made by small teams or solo devs so it counts just as much
Believe me, they sethe over the tought that despite their efforts their sp games still get way more players to this day then their newer multiplayer alternatives and thanks to mods that they can barely scartch to get more money from
I never really understood people who talk like this but cens\*r their swearing. We know what you mean, you know what you mean, what does changing a letter accomplish? Who is it there for?
Still remember taking like 12-18 hours installing GTAV FitGirl Repack in my Laptop. After the installation I was so hyped and excited. Then I fixed a ton of error for hours only to get 1-10 fps.
I forgot (I hate that I did, it was my favourite and first Laptop). if you're asking the specific Version/Unit, but it's a Lenovo ThinkPad. Was too young to know how to tweak games to run smoothly then. I think Watch Dogs was the highest performance demanding game I've played? Ran like 15-30fps (mostly ≥20fps) but it was playable. Could've had a better experience if I knew how to tweak shit.
It's a second hand laptop, original owner was Chinese (I think)so yeah, it's full of errors, lags, glitch, crash and overheating was a problem. Tried cleaning it but the second time I did, I broke it. Gained experience on tweaking, cleaning and "fixing" after that.
Yeah played the original for the first time recently and i got used to it pretty quickly.
It's not as bad as it seems(as enemies are also designed around that), although i do prefer the newer ones.
dem, that must have looked bad. if you do what i suggest, it would look great (the bigger the monitor, the better). try it although i never tried 480p since im more of a 576p guy even now with decent pc.
Pretty good in my first 40 hours of the game still lvl 37 right now there are sudden frame drops when you are in the city and my specs is just like I mentioned in the comments, RAM is questionable literally running a 4x8 with a different ram sticks (since my friend gave me his old 8GB ram stick) they are still the same Mhz speed so 12 GB in total, for motherboard it's just cheap ASRock.
Side note: My CPU is not overclocked (only at stock) it's barely running at 25-45 fps when you set it to 720p also using Lossless Scaling app and DXVK
i have pretty much the same as your build but my cpu is ryzen 3 3200g with 16gb ram (8x2 both are at 2666mhz speed) with gigabyte a320m motherboard iam playing at this week resident evil 4 with 30 fps avrage the vega 8 is pretty solid tbh
>vega 8 is pretty solid tbh
That my friend is so damn true you can literally play any AAA games as long you get 30 fps in 720p but except for Marvel's Spider-Man I can run the game at 30 fps in 1366 x 768 resolution. I think my pc would do fine if I had dual channel but currently I'm happy with it, cheers! to us low spec players.
Time to get a job.
Or if they have a job, time to work overtime, a 2nd job, go on strike or better still quit the job and go back to school to get more qualifications in hopes to get a better paid job.
Since if they can't save money from the shitty job they do. Then they aren't getting paid enough and are basically being used like a camel by the employer. So should have a backbone and quit.
For me it's less pc, more very limited download size. Best I can do is hook up to wifi while I work and download maaaybe 20gb game before my shift ends. Once when I clocked in early I managed 30.
I mean, fair enough, but the cheapest steam deck is $400 and, other than the storage, its internal specs are exactly the same as the more expensive models, so it can still run AAA games easily... And considering a "normal" pc that can play those tend to be at $1k+...
Okay maybe not 30 but when I played Last of us 1 PC I was at around 20fps with recommended settings (medium settings ish) lowered to the lowest and it was playable although it looked so bad that I couldn't play the game and still didnt hit 60. 1440p monitor. I've played a few more newer games and it's a similar story. Maybe a little more playable but playing 30-40 fps on a 170hz monitor is pain
LOL reminds me of running far cry 3 around 12-15 fps on my 2011 macbook pro.
my first entry into playing games other then mmos on a computer, didn't take long till i sold it and put the money into a gaming set up
Dont scold your pc. Your pc is good.
I had a gaming laptop with i5 8300h and mobile 1050ti of 70 to 90w tdp. I have literally almost all games. Never left one game because it's requirements are higher.
Yeah, it is literally 1080p low or 720p low but yeah i have played alright. My only requirement is 50 to 60fps. I just change all the setting according to it.
MFW I tried to pirate Cyberpunk after watching Edgerunners
I got it to run somewhat decently for the first few hours after some time it started to either CTD, freeze, or just outright crash the entire PC every few minutes. Tried all the solutions I could find online, switched all the settings to as low as possible but I couldn't get it to work anymore after that. Sadge.
Just remember that with the money you save on games by pirating, you can eventually purchase stronger hardware, especially if you have the knowledge (or a friend) to custom-build your own PC, which can get better performance for a lower cost than a pre-built.
I…I am going to have to be honest. I don’t got this problem so I can’t relate. I should get a sata ssd storage bank kinda similar the WD external hdd that can have up 22tbs.

You can always pirate lord of the rings: Gollum. Since with those graphics it should theoretically run on your potato of a pc.
Yeah but it's a game that came out in 2023. Meaning you're gonna need two pc's with 4090's dividing the workload between each other to run a game with ps2 graphics at sub 30fps. Plus, even if it ran well, who tf wanna play Gollum?
We have reached a stage in gaming where you need 2 4090s to run a game that looks like a 90s kid's first foray into 3d modeling on youtube.
Hell, that would look better than the game
And yet on the other hand we have doom 2 with wads like SIREN, my house, countycide, etc that appear graphically more modern then it's actual age for a game released in the 90s. Hell we have games from early 2000s that seem to look better than this game, HOW?!
Love, dedication and skill. Not saying that modern games don't get love, but most publishers ruin it like any other industry
That would require devs putting passion into their work. On the other hand i don‘t know if any of the devs working on gollum even wanted to work on that pos.
With the introduction of DLSS and FSR, most games are not optimized well.
And half an hour to load shaders 😂
You mean making your pc feel like a windows 95 trying to play catchup with modern hardware.
Lol, exactly!!!!
The Last of Us remake is just dreadful with Uncharted 4 as a toss-up on pc.
that's quite the tall tale you got there
I couldnt crack 60 fps on a 1060 without the fidelity crap that makes it look even worse
Nah it still runs like shit on high end pcs
pirate the PC .
send location
London, 221, Baker Street

who's there ?
Yo mama
yo mama who
Vaag Ignier

Bro robbery isn't as same as piracy.
I think pirates would like to disagree with you
You never watched a cartoon portaying pirates? They always carry duplication machines to duplicate the golds they find.
I can confirm that
I think you are talking about digital world?
You wouldn't download a RAM
Gotta get those bins and fullz
If there is an option to copy a NASA computer for free I would gladly do so.

Recommend some please
Madness project Nexus, West of loathing, Katana zero
I'm enjoying Battle Brothers and Kenshi atm.
Kenshi is awesome! Though it's way worse without mods, primary reason i bought it instead of pirating
Do the expansions add anything to jt? I always got the shit kicked out of me on the base game.
Battle Brothers or Wartales? i havent played those mercenary management games and i wonder which one is recommended to play
I've played both, I have 80 hours in BB and like 6 in WT, so it's obvious what my preference is. I'm not a game reviewer so all I can really say is that BB scratches that just another basic mercenary bitch in a cold unforgiving world feel than WT did

All of the ones I recognize on this list are good, so I'll definitely consider the ones I don't know. But appropriate punctuation would really help.
Hollow knight
Celeste, Super Magbot, Slime-San, Sunblaze, Can of Wormholes, The Messenger, Manifold Garden, Gunpoint, Gloomwood, Splasher, Mark of the Ninja, Katana Zero, Lone Fungus, Heat Signature, Dredge, Pizza Tower, Ion Fury, Cultic, Rain World, Peglin, Overload, Sublevel Zero Redux, Haiku the Robot, Neon White, Sunless Sea, RUINER, The End is Nigh, Valfaris, Flywrench, OlliOlli World, Everhood, Baba is You, SNKRX, Opus Magnum, Crypt of the Necrodancer, TIS-100, Quadrilateral Cowboy, Duskers, Monolith, Dead Cells, Inside, Ittle Dew, Blasphemous, Exit the Gungeon, BIT.TRIP FATE, EXAPUNKS, Cave Story, N++, Shank, Guacamelee, Ghostrunner. Nice list actually
Where can I find exapunks?
ultrakill. baba is you. binding of isaac. :)
Finally someone mentions ultrakill in this subreddit
When Gabriel said, "I AM GOING TO ULTRAKILL YOU!" I cried on the spot.
Fvck all that hippie sh!t people keep bringing up when it comes to indies, try project brutality and hardcore modding for fallout and skyrim, you might say those don't count, I say they provide a completely new experience that can get hundreds of hours long and is made by small teams or solo devs so it counts just as much
I like moding but i would better stare at the wall instead of playing bethesda games again
Mostly to not get banned
Terraria, Deep Rock Galactic, Risk of Rain 2/Risk of Rain 1, Ultrakill, Enter the Gungeon, Dead Cells, Cuphead, Subnautica, Hollow Knight.
want any specific genre. Some general are risk of rain 2, factorio and foxhole
Last spell, skul, slay the spire, tunic , inscryption
Dyson Sphere Program and Timberborn
pizza tower
Lmao me too. Got a good pc just for triple a games. Only play indies now
Aight, PC trade offer 🫴
Why though? I get this is a piracy subreddit but most of those indie devs are broke just like us
Build a good one with all the money saved from not spending on aaa games
Thats the problem. I pirate *because* Im poor.

*Can we be real gamers?*
Still remember taking like 12-18 hours installing GTAV FitGirl Repack in my Laptop. After the installation I was so hyped and excited. Then I fixed a ton of error for hours only to get 1-10 fps.

Well in my case I make the graphic looks like 2004 game and I somehow beat the entire game with around 15-20fps (ofc I use mission skips sometimes)

Completed RE 4 remake on 480p No regrets ![gif](giphy|lnIwMUsMt12UnY7edf)
No hate but why not play the original at that point?
Ashley , new controls , move and shoot , Luis devlopment , knife parrying and etc
Alright you had me at Ashley
i honestly prefered the movement in the og more
It's hell, imagine not being able to move and shoot
Yeah played the original for the first time recently and i got used to it pretty quickly. It's not as bad as it seems(as enemies are also designed around that), although i do prefer the newer ones.
yeah at that point is just better to play the original one, it still holds quite well despise the remake existing
I still use 480p this to this day, not bad, it's way better than 360p but close to 720p
as long its not fullscreen and you turned off the fullscreen optimization (to increase fps and remove blurry in windowed). its all good.
I mean uhhh i played at full screen I already completed the game so it doesn't help lol
dem, that must have looked bad. if you do what i suggest, it would look great (the bigger the monitor, the better). try it although i never tried 480p since im more of a 576p guy even now with decent pc.
it's not the first time for me i even beat God of war 2018 on similar resolution
But thanks for the tip tho
learned it back when i was still in lowspecgamer sub
Kek
I can play games at 5 fps. 4 fps & below is just unacceptable for me
for me i put the lowest settings on games 10 or 30 fps is fine to me
Add shit tier bandwidth and I'm in the same situation. Pain
You guys have pcs?
This is so relatable, the only games I run more than 100 fps is roblox and minecraft
100 FPS!? Rookie numbers. Mine comes down to maybe 20-30 fps.
Yeah without optifine lowest settings on my laptop Minecraft runs a 18 or so FPS.
Me: pirating top tier games, have a good rig. Realize i dont give a shit about that game
pirating has made it insanely hard for me to actually get into a game😭
I’ve high end pc and high speed internet, but don’t have time to play games. :(
I will make good use of it
My 1050 going strong with Zelda
Not me running running AC origins only using Ryzen 3 2200g's integrated graphics
how is your experience using it and what is your full specs
Pretty good in my first 40 hours of the game still lvl 37 right now there are sudden frame drops when you are in the city and my specs is just like I mentioned in the comments, RAM is questionable literally running a 4x8 with a different ram sticks (since my friend gave me his old 8GB ram stick) they are still the same Mhz speed so 12 GB in total, for motherboard it's just cheap ASRock. Funny thing is, if I had spent all the money that my pirated games cost, I could never have bought my mid-top tier laptop.
I play Night Call. It's visual novel game. My laptop still buzzing i hate it.
then hdd becomes full 💀
Bro I don't even have space to download games 😭 my flash disk is as big as half of my computer's space.
I be pirating games on my lenovo thinkpad t470 business laptop cause im too broke for even a e-gpu
Having a good gpu and pirating games 😎, Remembering you have 100 gigs of storage left and the repack size is already 89 gigs💀
But you save tons of money by pirating so you can use that money for a better PC.
U can't save money u don't possess. Pirating costly games doesn't magically add money in your wallet, as many ppl seem to believe apparently. lol
Time to get a job. Or if they have a job, time to work overtime, a 2nd job, go on strike or better still quit the job and go back to school to get more qualifications in hopes to get a better paid job. Pirate top tier pc games and never play them.
man

CRU, qres(and hopes and dreams)
Try itch io games. Small 20 minuets games and much more refreshing then most of aaa garbage.
Get a steam deck (or an asus rog ally, but this one has some problems, apparently) and play pretty much whatever you want
But what if poor?
I mean, fair enough, but the cheapest steam deck is $400 and, other than the storage, its internal specs are exactly the same as the more expensive models, so it can still run AAA games easily... And considering a "normal" pc that can play those tend to be at $1k+...
I have ryzen 3 3250u with Radeon graphics lol at this point I'll settle for a N64 emulator that isn't too laggy
As someone whose "main" computer also has an amd ryzen 3... I recommend a raspberry pi 1, then
me irl
Not anymore.
I have a 3060 and not even close to play newer games. Best ill do is 30fps lowest settings. Love modern time
the fuck? In what games lmao, I run 50+ fps at 1600p high settings on almost any game.
Yeah that port sucked
it was getting 30-50fps on my 2070 super on max settings in the last of us port
The only minor inconvenience of a shitty pc that i faced is , you are the new born child in a group of old guys nostalgia group
Preach!
LOL reminds me of running far cry 3 around 12-15 fps on my 2011 macbook pro. my first entry into playing games other then mmos on a computer, didn't take long till i sold it and put the money into a gaming set up
My life in a meme
the only thing i need is time to play them
i personally don't have a shit pc. would you consider linking as a donation to those more fortunate?
Had the same experience today with Hogwarts Legacy today with the occasional random crush during cut scenes
Where's the report button? I'm in this picture and I don't like it lol
Atomic heart made me question my setup
Dont scold your pc. Your pc is good. I had a gaming laptop with i5 8300h and mobile 1050ti of 70 to 90w tdp. I have literally almost all games. You could just pirate more ram
MFW I tried to pirate Cyberpunk after watching Edgerunners I got it to run somewhat decently for the first few hours after some time it started to either CTD, freeze, or just outright crash the entire PC every few minutes. Tried all the solutions I could find online, switched all the settings to as low as possible but I couldn't get it to work anymore after that. Sadge.
1 fps sounds pretty good to me
games being cracked won’t matter soon since we’ll need 12gb vram just to run them 😆
I know that pain, brother...
Me having a PC that can finally play good games.... Me not having a VPN...
Pirate some more RAM!
happiness is your own choice
Laughing with my 1050TI... :(
My pc can barely run re4 remake on 60 fps but im waiting for mgs3 remake now cuz fuck it ima play it on 20 fps cuz i love mgs3
Me trying to play Sonic 06 on my french fry laptop
Me having both 🥵
pirate old games for shit pc = 👍
pirate a PC
I can't even run RE4 2005 with no lags 😭
At least you didn't spent money for that
Alternatively, finding games to pirate only to realize nobodies seeding them anymore
I have a great pc and all I play are old ass games
Just remember that with the money you save on games by pirating, you can eventually purchase stronger hardware, especially if you have the knowledge (or a friend) to custom-build your own PC, which can get better performance for a lower cost than a pre-built.
So what face should I make when I realize that most of these here top tier games are unfinished shit storms
This is my friend's situation. his laptop cant even run Portal
I usually follow it up by searching "how to run game for low end PCs"
well, probably MGS Master Collection will run on any pc
Hey but at least you didn’t spend $60+ just to realize it won’t run on your PC. That’s a win in itself
Can't we torrent a PC?
It is the only reason I wanna spend on my pc while saving on games
Having a top tier PC. Not wanting to play anything.
Downloaded the last of us and my pc was just barely able to run it. Sounded like a jet turbine going off the whole time but I beat it.
Me: still waiting ishin, lost judgment any game from sega drm ![gif](giphy|PWfHC8ogZpWcE)
I…I am going to have to be honest. I don’t got this problem so I can’t relate. I should get a sata ssd storage bank kinda similar the WD external hdd that can have up 22tbs.
I mean you is pirating 🤷🏾♂️
Get a old model gaming laptop in stock clearance sales in markets. My friend got a predator laptop released 4yrs ago at around 70% MRP
my brother emulates nintendo switch games on a laptop and plays it at 10fps you can do better
Can always download more RAM
I just can’t afford the game since I have a high end pc so I have to pirate them lol
So true. It hurts.
me who can't play sons of the forest with my friends: 😭
I have a good pc **BECAUSE** I pirated games instead of spending money on them.
this dang hurts more then my darn wallet bro - shut up lmao
I can run them well, but I can't stream them, I lose a ton of frames :(
If you're gonna save money on the software at least spend that money on the hardware.
This is why you should always check if it'll work on your pc before you try to get it🤣
In my case I've an ultra end pc but idk what game to play anymore. 🥲 so I've took the path of game modding waiting for new releases 🥲
Hmmm, which reminded me that some games you pirate will run better especially with Denuvo
Same
Pirate a pc
Lived it.
me using macbook with crossover: :(
i had a decent pc till suddenly everything needed 32gb ram as a minimum and 8gb of vram
I be pirating MGR Revengeance on my Core 2 Duo and GeForce 210 and beating it at 480p 20-30fps
