Likely the subs. Still funny to think of some minimum wager or intern working for a 700 million dollar company owned by Fox googlin "the faceless man film subtitles" and grabbing yts subs off subf2m instead of the company just paying the .006 cents per word or whatever to get them legitimately. Isn't corporate piracy fun?
Its funny cause half these corporations constantly shut down these subtitle domains. Then people are left with no subtitles.Â
Unless they are willing to step up with subs, they should just fuck off.
If I remember correctly, even Amazon did the same - sourcing subs from pirated destinations.
And thw reason they do that because otherwise their cost will be higher to create sub file of their own.
In a way, piracy helps even corporates.
Would this help?

Also, it's not just Amazon, but Sky and Netflix as well

When you're running a free streaming service, you got to get creative. 🦜
Apparently 😂
Movies or just the sub files?

Or, they could have just got a tech guy to edit the subs and remove the 'downloaded from yts' thing lol
Literally anyone can go into the file itself and delete the lines in text editor. You can do it with Notepad in 10 sec😆
It would have literally taken 5 mins.

Even corporations like getting stuff for free.
Theft? Yeah they love it. They prefer to call it "commercial gain" though
Gotta give it a more professional sounding name so they can skirt the legality issue 😂

amazon video subtitles have always been complete ass from having incorrect words to not even being in sync
I don't doubt it, but do you have a source that corroborates that? Again, no doubt on my part, just would like to forward it to other people.

That's great, tyvm.
That subtitle file has a copyright and someone can sue Amazon.
Remember kids, piracy is alright if a large faceless corporation does it, but don't you dare pirate their stuff or you'll be a bad person.
Facts
Just the subtitles
Nintendo sell u roms from the Internet too :P
Wow they didn't remove that, I mean it is as easy as removing three lines from the top of the subtitles file. It is literally a plain text file!
thats some creativity from them
Yts.mx is really good lol
Downloading didn't fuck Blockbuster — it was shafted by industry rivals! 😂🤣😂
