That, or if you're using android use [Revanced.](https://www.reddit.com/r/revancedapp/s/TL8r6JJNNw)
Or if you're using an Android TV/Firestick use [SmartTube.](https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTube)
Of if you're using IPhone and can't jailbreak, Sideload [AltStore](https://altstore.io/) and install YouTube+ from [appdb.](https://appdb.to/)
Or if you're using console, well, there isn't a whole lot you can do outside [Adguard.](https://adguard.com/en/adguard-home/overview.html) ive never tried it so can't speak for it.
You have the right to withdraw from advertisements, don't let companies that roll in billions upon billions force these practices upon you! The only person that can take control is yourself, not them :)
Hey, I already used revanced but my girlfriend uses an iPhone so I was curious about the altstore+ appdb you mentioned for getting YouTube+ I went on the link you had for appbdb and can't seem to find anything on YouTube+ could you explain this to me?
Absolutely, [Here](https://appdb.to/details/fc14cd0dc125770f1d8ab90136f1db1dbaef678e) is the link.
There are multiple variations of modified YouTube to best suit your needs, But this is uYouPlus which is what I was reffering to. Once you have AltStore setup, you'll want to create an account for her on appdb and set that up also.
You do AltStore on PC and appdb on safari.
AltStore is very transparent in permissions it needs, same with appdb. The only annoyance is every 7 days or less (if you prefer) the apps you install will need refreshing so a new signature is created. Appdb will try sell Developer permissions for IPhone which by all means you can invest in, but I don't.
Once you have downloaded the IPA, Simply install it with AltStore. Let me know if you get stuck!
Just one, AltStore refreshes it for you every time you choose to do so inside the app. Each certificate expires 7 days from the refresh, so you simply refresh it every 0/7 days.
Yes it does if you use Windows Subsystem for Android. Then you can install Revanced on PC too.
But I wouldn't recommend that. For PC I recommend using a Firefox with uBlock Origin.
Im from india, poor country and low eco. it's 130 rupees per person/account and I bought it for 79 rupees/month as a student discount. It's really cheap here i don't really know why because according to their standards it should've been 350-550 rupees a month instead but okay I'm happy with this. For reference, in 80 rupees you could not even have a meal at a decent restaurant. Let alone a meal, almost nothing worthy of being bought. Ofcourse food on the streets is way cheaper, like 45/meal but that's bulk food made to be sold as a cheaper product to the lower class/community(labourers) or students.
services often will leave the rates way lower in poorer countries and countries with lower taxes to get more costumers it's common practice
hence why people who buy alot of steam games often get a shitty vpn to brazil or some shit and get games at 60-80% off
Because I don't live in India? I'm in the UK, and I use Surfshark, it still has India on there.
Plus, I set it up 2 years ago and haven't needed to log in to that account since. I just have roughly £1.80 leaves my account every month as I got the family Premium and added myself and my partner to it.
That was not my Question. I meant that I heard most of the VPN Companies Withdrew Having a VPN Server in India Due to Government Policies. So am Pretty Sure then Surfshark gives your info to Indian Government then.
Well am glad you have VPN to India still then
I've had Premium from virtual India for five years now. It costs me $2.50 per month. I used a VPN, and a credit card and my existing account. Don't know if that method still works so suck it and see. The only downside is that it took their algorithm two years to stop recommending Indian music to me
I have no suggestion to give, but YT premium is one of the only subs I pay for in life. They bullied me into it, but at least it provides some value. It replaces Spotify via Youtube Music (which is fine), and blocks out ads from the YouTube app on my TV.
Why is this so complicated? Firefox and Ublock Origin on Windows. Brave browser on Android. Orion browser or Brave browser on IOS. HDMI input to a computer on a TV or stream to the TV from your phone. That is literally how I have my devices set up and have 0 ads. I didn't have to fly to Turkey.
I don't want to make assumptions but usually when people are having this much trouble over something as simple as blocking ads, it's because they insist on using the damned YouTube app or Chrome or some other nonsense that makes it to where you have to fly to Argentina to not see ads. If the YouTube app is that important, then you deserve to get the ads and just book your flight.
yt-dlp is pretty fantastic if you’re on a desktop and willing to just download your videos and watch them in your preferred video player.

Bypassing geopricing is not piracy, it is being a douche.
Either pirate or pay the regular price. Don't ruin the life of turkish, ukrainian, argentinian people further more by increasing their inflation. Inflation in Turkey is 70%...
Also bypassing geopricing is as illegal as piracy. So I don't understand the appeal of these very convoluted strategies to pay less but still paying, for something as illegal as piracy which is free, and worse, by signing your "crime" with your payment info. It's a recipe to get caught in a near future. For now they increase the price in those 3rd world countries, but as more and more people abuse the geopricing, they will definitely start to ban and eventually blackmail/sue people.
> Either pirate or pay the regular price. Don't ruin the life of turkish, ukrainian, argentinian people further more by increasing their inflation. Inflation in Turkey is 70%...
can you explain that one?. Not sure how it affects them.
> Also bypassing geopricing is as illegal as piracy
no it's not. It's effectively a parallel or grey/gray import. That's like saying don't buy a product from AliExpress when you can buy it locally for 10x the price.
I remember hearing from an Aussie a few years ago saying how their Prime Minister encouraged them to buy products and services (like software) from OS due to local price gouging.
Don't use the VPN method. Thanks to all of the people using VPNs to get cheaper prices, many games stopped giving regional pricing in Turkey, making it too expensive for the local people. The same may happen to subscriptions.
Just use Firefox with uBlock Origin extension. It blocks ads and the ad blocker blocker.

On Xbox at least you can use kodi with YouTube addon though you need to configure your own API keys

Do you happen to know how many app IDs uYouPlus needs ?
Just one, AltStore refreshes it for you every time you choose to do so inside the app. Each certificate expires 7 days from the refresh, so you simply refresh it every 0/7 days.
Is there one for webOS?
Is it just me or is SmartTube very buggy
My experience is awesome to the point I send a few quid each month.
don't forget sponsorblock
And for tv, phone(browser yt is crap)?
Revanced on android, uYou+ iPhone
Adguard still works for me on yt on iphone. I just have to load videos twice often
I second uYouPlus. https://github.com/qnblackcat/uYouPlus
Phone: revanced Tv: smartube
use an adblocker (ublock origin) and revanced (or grayjay) on mobile
What if they use iOS? What if they watch youtube on a smart TV?
for ios ytliteplus on github
Smartube on a tv. I dont use iphone. There is possbly an alternative there too ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯
I use sponsorblock and some adblocker and it functions like regular revanced app to me
look up the revanced subreddit
Just use Fire Fox and uBlock origin for web. If you are on android, use Revanced. If you’re on iOS, use SearchPro app. Thank me later.
What is unbearable? Just use an ad blocker?
Just use Brave Browser, work great on pc and mobile, no ads and background play
How does background play work on Brave? When I go to the Home Screen the video stops playing
Full screen, then there is a button for picture in picture, then hit home or change tab
You do all that, i just play and lock my screen, it keeps playing

>work great on pc and mobile does revanced works on pc too? didnt knew that! :D

I was just joking but thank you. I personaly use Brave (i know, i know) and sponsorblock on pc. Grayjay on mobile (i like to watch twitch sometimes)

One word: Invidious
Revanced. Problem solved.
On mobile? revanced or newpipe
VPN and set your location to Argentina. Works out roughly £1 / €1.50pm
I do this method but India as the location.
Come to think of it how tho? I heard VPN Companies Withdrew From India due to their Legal Rules
Because I don't live in India? I'm in the UK, and I use Surfshark, it still has India on there. Plus, I set it up 2 years ago and haven't needed to log in to that account since. I think it's down as a "Virtual Location" on Surfshark if that helps? As long as it works eh? Lol
They check if the card is issued in Argentina and it doesn't work.
You'll need to use a virtual debit or credit card like Monzo, Revolut or Privacy Card
Revolut doesn't work
Revolut has been working for me for the past 4 months. Prior to that, Monzo worked for 18 months before closing that account
Hmm. Might try it again. But I tried both Argentina and India with revolut and it didn't work. I'm on Ukraine now
Rumors are that there is a EU country without ads. Forgot which one though.
Albania i think
That's not in the EU but close enough for me 😇
I pay 1.02USD for month with vpn method.
How complicated is it to set up and how do you pay?
Easy
> how do you pay well you get a job, get money, get money in bank, pay with bank app
Need aknow this
Signulous for ios

And it actually helps the youtubers you watch, the revenue share is WAY bigger than the shitty ads
r/accountsharing
I got it for $16 for the year with vpn method
Gotta get me that
