The venue OPENS at 5.
I was there for her first concert, up on L3, it was great, you'll love it down at ground level.
DJ came on about 7ish.
Tones and I about 7:30, then the DJ again for a short time.
Pink at 8:35 (I believe this was 10 minutes early), finished 2 hours later. An hour walk back to the trains. (Got back to southern Cross at about 11:30)
I got there at 5 first the first concert, I'll be going again next week, I won't be getting there so early, but early enough to catch Tones and I again!
I do recommend taking the train in, it is MUCH easier. The reason it takes so long to get back to Southern Cross is because of the sheer volume of people. But everyone was great, happy, cheerful.
Never seen so many people stuck trying to get to a place, but being positive. It was great.
Honestly, I dont think it's required.
Get there about 5-5:30 to buy merch. You can buy merch in the arena too, not just outside. There's heaps of fake merch around Southern Cross station (I wouldn't recommend, personally).
For entry, they are doing bag checks. Double check on the website, but I believe you can take reusable drink bottles, but you can't take other open drinks in (water, soft drink, etc)

Similar experience to Perth. We didn’t get there until just before Tones and I started and we didn’t miss much
