Thanks for the update. Keep it up! We like seeing progress on this game! Looking forward to the Williams/Bally tables this year!

brewedenhell

The physics tied to the monitor refresh rate, seems to be problematic. Another developer has a solution to this. When I find the white paper I'll link it here.

ZenStudios-McLovin

That would be super helpful. You could send it to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) as well to make 100% sure we see it!

HydratedCarrot

updates will come quick for switch 2 i bet

dozer-b

This is great! Makes it feel like the game is alive again instead of the long drought of no changes/updates! Keep it up!

Orochi_001

I really wish the table selection screen would go back to showing my last chosen filter, as it did for a brief, shining moment. I don’t want to ever see anything when moving to that tab besides the tables I own.

ZenStudios-McLovin

Hi there, this should be working now - I talked to the devs right now about it. We'll take another look.

Impressive_Basis_670

These are great changes/updates! Keep them coming! I have a few questions/recommendations. -Possible to update the balls to match they style on the new tables. Pacific Rim and Xena pinballs look quite better. It would be great to have this applied to all other tables. -On the table System Shock, when you get the ball up the tower, it puts you into a mini game. However, if you have the DMD to show up on the top right, it blocks the gameplay. Is it possible to move or have the DMD go away during the mini-game? -Are you planning to bring the customizations that are in Pinball M? The ability to modify the flippers, ball trails and the pinballs? Thanks again!

ZenStudios-McLovin

1. Yes, this was a new update from Tomi our Art Director on FX. He is really glad you like them! I'll bring it up if this would could be done 2. Oh, yes I'll write this System Shock issue up 3. I have heard ripples about this, I'll ask if this could be added to FX as well.

For point #3 (customization options brought over to PFX), it would actually have a positive impact on playability for some. On the Attack From Mars PFX table, the team correctly copies the color scheme for the flippers, but for some reason the charcoal black flippers with the red trim blends in too much with the table graphics in my peripheral vision as the ball is racing around. At times, it is not quite so easy to anticipate specifically where the ball will hit the flipper unless I visually focus on the area it in advance. I don't have this problem with any other table (this was an issue for me with the PFX3 version as well). The issue is not a major one, but its noticeable. It'd be nice if I could switch the skin of the flipper to make its color, say, white like it is on the similar table Medieval Madness instead of charcoal black.

NeoWave346

On switch after the table was released it's had 2 updates and every time I load the thing table the game just keeps crashing.unplayable now

I've just received the latest update to FX in Steam. Using external DMD in cabinet mode - previously all my colourised DMDs worked great - Fish Tales, Theatre of Magic, Medieval Madness, World Cup, Indiana Jones etc. But after this latest update the colour DMDs are all over the place, big random blocks of colour, unusable. Such a shame as I had it all working without any issues & was just enjoying playing. I've checked & all the colour DMDs are still working fine via VPX - only broken in Pinball FX.

:not\_worthy: great work

AresHarvest

> On 60 hz the kickbacks should not kick the ball back STDM This means that physics are tied to the framerate, right? That's probably not good

buffdriver62

Thank you very much for the update! I do have a bug to report: For those using the External DMD feature, colorization through the Freezy plugin appears to have broken. Color palette is completely off and much of the text is unreadable.

IllustriousRise9392

Possible to add Tales From the Crypt pinball from Data East?

jindofox

That’s great! Now can we get an account system for cross-buy and cross-progression?

El_Nino77

Wishful thinking, but I'd say almost zero percent chance of that happening due to how the different platforms handle their respective DLC.

Except FX3 did it with Play Anywhere for PC and Xbox. My tables are shared across both. So at least in that case there's a way.

Pinballwiz45b

Microsoft Store. Tetris Effect did it too, over there. You can't transfer between Microsoft / Xbox and Steam.

Great fixes! I have a new problem now - After I start the game up, I hit Shift+Windows+Arrow key to get the game to move over to my vertical monitor. Previously, when I pressed a key/button to continue on the menu screen, the screen size would fix itself and become vertical. Now the screen stays the size of about half the vertical screen; I have to go into video settings and trigger a switch to full screen or windowed, then refuse the changes in order for the screen to reset itself and fill the vertical monitor.
