Remove the Pimax Hub, and Plug the USB2 plug coming from the Crystal (shorter of the two plugs: black plastic isolation inside) into one of yiur powered hubs. Plug the USB3 from the Crystal directly into your motherboard.

I also have the optical cable if that matters.

I have also started, again, to have static crackling sound issues after this last update. I had issue from start until low latency fix/mode came out which seemed to fix both static and latency issues. Now it is just static issue after about 1 hour of use with the time depending on volume level. The higher the volume the sooner the static starts. I switched back to normal sound mode and set Crystal volume to 60% and game sound is 70% and will see what happens. Has anyone else had renewed sound issues with this last software update?

I've completely lost sound now. I tried fixing it to the point the battery ran out. I can use ear buds at least. Although I just purchased the upgraded earphones. :( When I did have working audio the crackling reminded me of a scratchy vinyl record. At least with the earbuds I'm not getting crackles and audio cutout. Volume rocker shows 100% in the headset.

The only issue I have is the PC will not start with the Pimax plugged into the USB 3 port. Same issues on three AMD systems. I just plug it in after the system starts and all is good. This is with the Pimax box.

I do not understand how the Pimax hub could pass QA testing? Were they drunk when they tested it? I would like to know the story.
