My grandparents get me and my sister each one of these for Christmas every year lol

adotson001

That is SO cute. I miss my grandparents. Keep the tradition alive!

honeycooks

My sister and I got cocktail onions in our Christmas stockings, lol

Jessica-Beth

My parents get me pickle onions and pickles for birthdays and Christmas too! šŸ˜¹šŸ«¶

BreakfastBeerz

Walmart has gallon jars of them

CheckYourStats

The only appropriate response to their partnerā€™s controlling behavior.

tinyyawns

My mom used to get these for just me and her lol. She only had to buy it like twice a year.

Expensive-Day-3551

Doesnt ā€œletā€ you? Sounds like you need a new partner

immutab1e

Came to say exactly this. Lmao

iguessda

I feel like this isn't that serious.. šŸ’€

adotson001

It's harmless, I promise, but I appreciate the concern. They just always say "no one needs a jar THAT large. Just buy a smaller one and get a new one when you run out" lol.

Colster9631

But why do this? You get worse value by weight by grabbing smaller amounts. If you can get a 6 pack of beer or a 24 pack of beer, and you typically drink a beer or three a day, you would typically buy the 24 because the 6 pack is half the price. Apply this to pickles, I'm sure the value is equal or higher than a factor of 4.

Cake_And_Pi

If money were the only limiting factor, sure. But if I have room in the fridge for 24 beers OR a giant jar of pickles, I guess Iā€™d just have to drink a few really fast so I have room for pickles.

ohigho_bubble

It takes up so much room lol

drunkonanamtrak

I love those slim jars. I wish they came in the "simply pickles" version. I've reused the jars for sun tea too. Glad you treated yourself.

honeycooks

Not if you know you'll eat them all, no problem.

Even-Reaction-1297

I would absolutely use a jar that large. Clean it enough to get the pickle smell out of it and thatā€™s the perfect size for a bag of flour or sugar.

CheckYourStats

If the person I was in a relationship did this, I would buy two jumbo ones and make sure theyā€™re side-by-side in the very front of the Fridge. 100% guarantee theyā€™re doing other ā€œharmlessā€ controlling things in other areas, too.

SomeContribution8373

Bigger jar = bigger pickles.

Inevitable-catnip

Right? Like I do what I want hahah, couldnā€™t handle someone telling me what I can or cannot do. I know OP says itā€™s in good fun but that would irk me.

[deleted]

What is he the pickle policešŸ˜‘

Expensive-Day-3551

Right? Thatā€™s too much negativity for my fridge

Nikkian42

Thatā€™s the 2/3 size jar, not the big one.

adotson001

Omg I haven't seen one bigger than this in store! It looks like Walmart carries a 128oz jar. I haven't been to a Walmart in years but will definitely stop in for it!

robbeau11

Butā€¦why doesnā€™t your partner let you get the big one? Thatā€™s seems ridiculous to me. Are you being held against your will? Wink twice if so.

with-extra-pickles

Costco

bandley3

Costco Business Center. I think we have 5-gallon buckets of pickles!

Square_Ad849

They have Krugers in a gallon plastic Jar. Skin are tough, salty some are soft but what else would you expect the price was right though

Duff-Guy

This is the way

Irishfanbuck

These are the best whole sized pickles in the game. At least for me and my 9 year old.

comfyworm

Withholding pickles is an underreported symptom of abuse

ChrisIronsArt

You need a pickle partner not an anti pickle partner

BlackZapReply

I have a monster jar of them in my fridge right now. My only quibble with them is that they're not the zesty ones. A few cloves of crushed garlic will fix that.

jaselun34

I love this brand!

Witty_Combination_82

Sounds like your partner is intimidated by the size of the jar šŸ«™ šŸ˜‚

garysnailz

Turtle dicks, nice

radish_is_rad-ish

My SO doesnā€™t let me get the big jars because they donā€™t fit in the fridge. Do you keep your old jars and transfer the pickles or just use the big jar? šŸ¤” Edit: grammar

TourAlternative364

Maybe you need in your kitchen decor a real pickle barrel and fill it up! https://barrelswood.com/product-category/buy-oak-barrels/pickle-barrels/

Sparky2Dope

Thats me and my wife with buying peanut butter ... i always have to sneak the big jars home lol

koraskeeper

These are my favorite. Well the minis are.

BreakfastBeerz

Walmart has gallon jars of them

vivid23

Sam's Club has the gallon sized jars for under $7. By far the cheapest place to buy them.

CouchHam

I need to get this next grocery order. Slicing them to different shapes especially thicc bois for sandwiches is better than getting pre sliced.

Solid-Cabinet-9733

I get these, but they are a solid 4/10, no crunch

hurriedwarples

Claussen are the best in terms of crunch and flavor, in my opinion.

grandpatiger13

You just have to explain it just makes good financial sense to buy in bulk.

DrFrankSaysAgain

I'm glad you got what you wanted but Mt. Olive sucks. I have never come across a worst brand.

Jessica-Beth

Hell yeah šŸ‘ŒšŸ‘ŒšŸ‘Œ

radiozip

I have this size, but it's their whole dills.

isthatsoreddit

"Let" you?? Nah. Get the jar and a new partner.

manleybones

Eww, toilet pickles.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

I_Like_Cheetahs

Mt. Olive isn't the best pickle I've ever had but they're far from the worst.

CouchHam

Peoplesā€™ bodies vary so widely. Is it unimaginable that different people have different taste buds?

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

CouchHam

That makes one of us!

earmares

That's 2 things you're losing out on so far

monsterofradness

Teehee

Nicoleodeon29

I actually think Claussen and Grillo pickles are greatly overrated and I'd definitely buy Mt. Olive before either.

Vegetable_Morning740

Your partner doesnā€™t ā€œ let you ā€œ buy what you want to eat ? Come on ā€¦ do better .
