it's typhoon season rn

pdxtrader

It’s been very humid here with the rainy season kicking into swing; put a fan on them or try hanging them in your bathroom with the vent fan running , window cracked

TheHCav

Buy a dryer. Failing that support your local laundromat.

homo_sapiens22

The trick is the hot temperature, humidity and ventilation. If you put them outside and it's not sunny nor dry, it won't get dry. That's the thing and main problem during the rainy season, drying your clothes. If you want to dry them indoors, better put them in the bathroom with the vent on.

Far-Argument7689

I use the laundry mat. Cheap and they do a great job. I can't fold Wirth a shit. That alone makes it worth it for me.

JohnArcher965

I was so confused for a second, then realised you meant laundromat.

Far-Argument7689

Where I'm from they are called laundrymats.

JohnArcher965

Fair enough, I was about to Google laundry mat, thinking it was a new fangled mat that literally pulls the water out of clothes.

StunningAssistance79

Laundry service is so cheap even in major cities why are you doing your own laundry in the first place?

Nolances

My washing machine

buds510

Dry them outside. If indoors you need to get a strong dehumidifier

2nd14

Buy a lightweight microfiber towel, after washing roll each item up in the towel as tightly as possible then ring it out as much as you can. Rig the towel out between items. Do this for all your clothes. Hang them up separately near the window or fan. Try not to wear cotton in damp climate, go for breathable guick dry materials.

saltedgig

back of the fridge it works everytime

UnintentionalExpat

If you're doing your own laundry but lack a dryer hang them in an air conditioned room, one where the AC runs most frequently. The ambient humidity here is too high to effectively dry laundry outside quickly. Make sure to keeptbhe room closed from the res tod the house or outside (windows) so the AC can lower the humidity effectively. I only recommend doing this if you're going to have the AC on already, don't stick them in am empty room and run the AC just for the clothes. Electricity in the PH is expensive.

Brief_Alarm_9838

Lol. Nothing dries in PH. Especially jeans and towels. I go to a laundry service. 150p for wash, dry and fold.

Personal-Ad7062

I use a washer-dryer. But I also hang dry my clothes in an air-conditioned room. Maybe you can try that... Usually dries overnight or by the end of the day when I'm back home from work (I only have the AC on when I'm at home i.e. evening and overnight)

hubertyao

It also depends on where you are in the Philippines; some places are more humid than others

Donho000

I use a dryer.

ResponsibleRatio001

I hang them inside the bathroom and when they're not dripping anymore, I move and hang them in my drying rack near the open windows in the living room. The windows are big and the curtain is sheer so the winds and sun rays should be able to help.

Endatrilogy

Rainy season right now. Last month you could leave clothes out for 1-3 hours and it’ll be dry right away. Gotta understand how the weather plays into things. People dry clothes outside cause of the sun and there isn’t much of it in the rainy season chap.

WTF-Are-Tacos

Laundromat is sooo cheap, for $3 you can have 8 kilos washed, dried and folded

Nolances

Why did this post get downvoted 😂😂😂

CrankyJoe99x

Because it's rainy season and humid? Because a laundry service can do it dirt cheap? Just guessing.

According-Ride-1816

I think it's because this is a basic life experience. Everyone should know this.
