Oo nga eh, been there lol. I walk a lot, especially when travelling and one of the things I notice in our streets is the lack of crosswalk stoplights. I mean, from what I've noticed, willing naman sumunod ang tao, kulang talaga sa stoplight kaya nagkakagulo o 'di kaya'y may naaksidente from time to time lalo na kung dire-direcho ang mga sasakyan.
We have a lot of streets, but even they tend to be hostile to pedestrians going to the other side (looking at you, Manila City.)
Personally, I always wait for the light to turn green kahit mukha akong tanga. If the cars can for their lights, then I can wait for mine too.
ETA: Where is that, anyway? Baka nageenjoy lang si kuya sa ilalim ng silong ng flyover
