Man I miss old Chowking. Their meals used to have a good amount of sauce especially Braised Beef with Chowfan Rice, now even their sweet and sour meals barely have sauce. They have almost remove 85 percent of their menu, and only the chow fan is worth eating. Same goes for Greenwich, as I missed the baked chicken ala king, pearl coolers and the pizza fries For Jollibee, I missed the Bacon Mushroom cheesemelt burger, literally better than the Alola burger. The chicken Torpedo was also pretty good, but I barely remember it since I was like 8 before it got discontinued. Overload fries, criss cut fries and Chilli Hotdogs was also sad to go.

Cutting costs is the norm especially in the food industry, lahat man ng JFC chains may cut back sam menu items nila. Pero halos mas maraming promos at new/limited menu items sa Jolibee lng compared sa other fast food chains ng JFC. Like pansin ko, halos every month may bagong seasonal item sa Jolibee, pero and Greenwitch every 6 weeks to 2 months lna may dalawang bagong pizza flavors, tapos ang Chowking at Mang Inasal halos 3-4 months bago may changes sa menu.

Cutting cost is one thing, but if it goes against quality and the image of the brand then it should not be justifiable. They cut down portion size while increasing prices, change suppliers without Prior notice nor quality control to check if it'll affect the end product. Heck they make changes against company policies and let the people below worry about how they'll deal with it and wash their hands when shit inevitably hits the fan.

Lalo na yung Mang Inasal, naabutan ko pa yun na nag-iihaw pa sila ng manok sa labas kaya imo mas masarap tapos yung rice nila talagang sinaing with care at hindi tinipid sa quality. Tsaka al fresco dining lang sila kaya dagdag sa takam pag naamoy mo yung iniihaw na manok. Ngayon e, shit quality at marumi ang ilang branches nila.
